Poor thread.

Broner needs to develop his own style, his own reflexes are horrid and adopting Flouds shoulder-based defence is going to hamper him big time.

He's also pretty flat footed, straight on and bad at judging distance. Looks to have raw power and is big for the weight, so if he makes some changes he might be able to make a go of it.

Donaire is so stylistically different to Pacquiao it's unreal. Come off it Colin!

its sad how bad broner is impersonating floyd latetly inside and outside the ring, in it its bad news it took floyd practising that skill since he was a nipper he has it perfected to the point where he gets away with it, broner is a ko waiting to happen employing the shoulder roll

 

I was laughing at Broner's Floyd impression in that fight.

Compare Floyd's footwork and speed at that age. Broker has similar footwork that the 34 year old Floyd has been using recently.

Floyd has evolved into a style that suits him perfectly at this time of his life, Broner is just copying a style that relies of physical attributes he does not have.

 

Donaire is far more than a wanabee Pacquaio, and they fight nothing alike. You have a point about Broner trying to be like Mayweather, and doing a not very good job of it so far.

Broner is better than the current version of Floyd, he's far more offensively minded and can actually stop opponents at will. Floyd is too happy to coast.
