to me pac won the fight 115-111.any thoughts?? im kinda new to the scoring so i may be way wrong. but one of the judges did score it 115-110 so i guess a few rounds are down to a matter of opinion. i will score the second fight tonight
I had it 115-112 Pacquiao, and the second fight I had 114-114. I don't anticipate needing to score the third fight.
I had Marquez by a pt.Marquez couldn't hurt Pacquiao.Manny kept comin and was walking into exquisite counters all night. The second 1. I had Marquez by 2 pts. I thought in this fight Marquez was strong. He managed to really hurt Manny to the eye and body around round 8 i think it was.In this fight. Look, Marquez is too damn old.Not really as enthusiastic for this event. If Pacquioa loses then Marquez has his number and is a better boxer.I wish Arum would match Pac with a hungry young lion if Floyd is still ducking.
I had it for Marquez (just like most neutral-boxing-fans had it). PAcquaio did great in the first round by knocking Marquez down 3 times ..... but for the vast majority of the remaining 11 rounds Marquez gave Pacquaio one hell of a boxing lesson. Marquez should of won it with rounds to spare. HE was robbed ... it wasnt even that close in the end. A robbery as bad as Mosley-De La Hoya 2, Lewis-Holyfield 1 and Valuev-Holyfield..
Those neutral boxing fan comment is such bull****, the fight was razorclose, if you score it for marquez its fine but dont act like its a robbery, its on the same line as hoya vs whitaker or martinez vs williams 1.
i will watch the second fight tonight. as for part 3 i think the size marquez has put on will no help it will slow him down. he will get beat up
I rewatched the first fight last weekend for the first time since the fight happened. At the time the fight happened I thought the fight was a draw. Last weekend I scored it for Pacquaio, I had it 6-6 in rounds and with the 3 knockdowns I had Pac winning by 3 points. I plan to rewatch the rematch tonight to see how I re-score that one as well.
I have the DVD (both HBO and Filipino versions) and scorecards at home and that was the score I had. I've rewatched and rescored several times and there wasn't much of a difference. People make it seem JMM won every round after Round 2. I had JMM winning Rounds 3-9 if I recall correctly with Pac coming back in the later rounds. The 2nd fight was much closer to a draw. I had that one even at 6 rounds to each fighter, the knockdown being the deciding factor.
