Why is this possible matchup never mentioned, even though Pacman wants to fight everybody else - Hatton, De La Hoya etc.

Obviously Mayweather would take PacMan to school and knock him the **** out. But Hatton and De La Hoya will do the same and those matchups are seriously talked about as if they might happen.

I think some people [Pac fans mostly] fantasize about Pac-Hatton because

    1. they just want to find out what happens when Pac connects on Hatton [answer: most probably nothing]
    2. it's guaranteed to be a brutal match [yup, and it won't last long]

With PBF-Pac #1 probably won't happen [Pac won't even connect against Floyd]
but #2 will most likely do

PBF dominates Pacman before stopping him

After Pac KOes Hatton earlier than PBF did. Floyd will Have 2nd thoughts & will never fight Pac. That's how it is.. He's a coward.

Mayweather would smack Pac around the ring, it would be so one sided it's not even worth thinking about.

So why is a De La Hoya fight talked about so much?

Because they're the two best supported fighters out there (apart from Hatton).

    It's all about the money.

the reason is taht Hatton and ODLH can bring in more money for Pac than PBF

none of these matchup should get talked about anyways, not now at least.

I think Floyd would like this fight, it would only add to his legacy and P4P ranking. BUT, Floyd would not move down to 140. He could do it easily I'm SURE but to drop back down to 140 is like saying "Pac is the man, I should go through the hassle of dropping down in weight to suit HIM."

Floyd is "the man", so really the only way this fight could happen is if Pacquiao moves UP.

Why do you think Pacquiao, a former 112 lb. champion, can knock out a natural 140 lb. champion in Hatton, when another 140 lb. knock out artist, Kostya Tszyu, couldn't?

I'd love to see this at 140, top 2 P4Per's. Floyd wins with ease.

This perfectly defines the potential Pac-Hatton slaughter.
