Not true, if Pac somehow beat Cotto and Mayweather he will go down as the best ever. It may not look like it right now but if he somehow pull it off, 10 years from now he will be talked about as the best ever.

jmm will probably give up to 5 lbs to pbf during the fight. pac, on the other hand, will be up to 10 lbs lighter than cotto during fightime.

if their difference in fighting weight was 5 lbs. or less, i would give pac a very good chance to beat cotto just like how pac beat hatton who weighed 4 lbs. more during their fight.

and how can hatton be old?! both him and pac are 30. pac has fought more fights and started boxing @16 yrs. old, much earlier than hatton. :-(

Those guys in the 50's might have SUCKED ASS and they looked good against each other. Sick of old timers and their magical powers. Sigh...

Pac by KO. I agree that if Pac beats Mayweather, the best of the last couple of decades, that he would be viewed as an atg. Best ever I reserve for guys who fought 100+ fights, against greats again and again: guys like Willie Pep and SRR.

See. Guys like this, reserve the spots.

Even though, it's near impossible to have that amount of fights in todays boxing world.

James Toney is not even close to being considered a top 10 ATG and not even close to 100 fights.

Cottos best fight to make should he get by Clottey is a rematch with Mosley. If he beats Mosley again, wait for the winner of Pac-JMM/PBF.

my bad man, it's not what i meant by old, what i meant was that in that fight at against pacman, he looked old and washed up, slow and very open to pacs hits.

Gay, Cotto should be fighting welterweights(Mosley) if he beats Clottey.

No, but it's not "impossible" to rack up an impressive number of fights.

    Floyd chose not to.
