Pacman vs. Diego Corrales fantasy matchup 130 lbs

Pacquiao weaves good and has good side to side movement ... i'm sure he comes in on a straight line but you have to hink about this ... Pacquiao is very strong at 130 ... just as strong as Chico and Pac's chin is granite ... the question mark that was around Chico was his chin ...

 

chico's chin will always be suspect against a power punching guy like pac. and they are both sluggers/brawlers so pac will not have a style disadvantage here. pac has the edge in speed and chin in this slugfest.

 

Corrales got dropped by Casamayor with a straight left each time there was a knock down by Casa.

 

Pacquiao has become more measured on the outside, but when he gets aggressive his footwork and balance remain poor. He can get away with that against guys the same natural size, but Corrales was a big and imposing 130 who wouldn't be awed by his speed.

Even Mayweather, as dominant as he was against Corrales, never was out of danger. Floyd himself was a very big 130 and had the slick defense and counterpunching -- just like Casa -- to handle Diego.

Pac has a more straight-forward attack and is merely a good puncher at 130, not a great one.

 

p4p match up, Pac would win by ko.
But at 130 Diego would ko Pac due to weight difference.

Pac has a 67" reach....Diego had a 70" (where do you guys get this stuff???).

Diego by late stoppage (7-9).

 

Hmm... this has been discuss before and most of the people agree that diego wins it because of size and power... that was before the barrera and JMM rematch. But now i think Pac actually has a chance @ 130 againts him. Pac has proven that he still has is speed and power + diego's chin? hey! who knows?!

 

Corrales would take this IMO. The only thing that makes me think twice is his tendency to to not fight tall by neglecting the use of the jab. Pac would have to exploit that quickly though. I don't see him holding up to the power of Corrales. My $.02.

 

The only problem I see is Corrales chin, other than that Pac loses this fight.

 

Corrales by mid round TKO. Corrales took shots from Castillo who is a much bigger hitter than pacman. Also, Pac could not take a shot form chico, no way. The *******s are up to their usual overrating of pacman.:-(
