If they were the same size this fight would be an all out war and I think I'd favor Hagler as well.... But the speed will always be a problem for Hagler at any weight and in any era... Sugar showed us that. Hagler is incredibly strong and has a cray durable chin...Pac wouldn't get a stoppage if he were to din in this mythical match up.

 

Pacquiao sucks. And he's a known glass-jawed homosexual. There's the maths for you.

 

Yeah, Pacquiao's amazing footspeed and explosive lightning-fast punching would no doubt give Hagler some trouble and he'd certainly land his share of power punches. But Hagler's jab and movement would make it really hard for him to get his in-and-out rhythm going, and Hagler would be one of the very best counterpunchers he ever faced too. And if Hagler decided to press the action later in the fight, even though that wasn't his preferred mode of fighting, he would make Pacquiao very uncomfortable having to fight going backwards against such a durable, skilled, and mentally strong fighter. Would definitely be an awesome fight if they were the same size though.
