It's like none of these people have never heard of Marvin Hagler. Hagler KO's Pacquiao in a late round stoppage....TOMORROW!
I know this thread is a joke to begin with, and this is totally irrelevant, but anyway, I don't really agree with Hagler walking through Hearns's best shots. Hearns landed some good shots, even stunning him with the short right uppercut and then a looping right hand after that. Hearns's best shot was when he got distance, and full leverage on that right hand. Hagler closed the gap on Hearns and didn't allow Tommy to get the distnace he preferred for that right hand. Hearns landed some nice looping right hands around Hagler's guard, but not the devastating straight right he landed on Cuevas, Shuler, Duran, etc... I think Hagler would've taken Hearns's best shots well though.
Hagler usually was pretty patient, boxing in the middle of the ring, and then turning it up later on. Or he could hurt his opponent in his usual boxing mode, and then pounce on him once this happened. But his usual style was to box in the middle of the ring, using economic lateral movement, picking his shots well, it wasn't to pressure his opponent. Now that I think about it, if they were the same size, Hagler's usual boxing style would probably be the better way for him to fight Pacquiao. As said in an earlier post, Hagler's jab and movement can disrupt the rhythm that Pacquiao likes to get into.
Pacman is one of the great fighters p4p all time, but to take on Hagler arguably the best at 160 when Pacquiao started his career weighing 106lbs is asking too much. He hasn't even fought at a full 154 let alone 160. Hagler is a career 160lber, Hagler would have the advantage clearly. This is an obvious troll thread filled with *****s refreshing their browsers looking to flame people that picked Pacquiao.
they're not on the same size. pac can't make 154 let alone 160 and hagler won't go down 147. who voted hagler by tko/ko is obviously looking at pac hagler at 160.
