Does anyone else feel JMM actually has a chance at winning this one if he can avoid a knock out? I think he will have issues with pacman's power at this weight but pac has definitely slowed down a bit. My guess is pacman by KO or Marquez by decision. I know this is a long shot but I don't feel like JMM should be written off so quick like many are saying.
Marquez on the most important night of his career, if conditioned well, has a shot. He's too good not to.
Let's face it, they aren't that much apart in NATURAL size. Pac rehydrates to around 148 and Marquez to around 144. Pac is a JWW and JMM is a LW. They are actually only 1 weight division apart. Still think this is an important fight for Pac's legacy. If he destroys Marquez, it will erase the 2 close fights with Marquez to some extent.
Agreed, the size difference is not as great as people think. Manny only weights 147 soaking wet and JMM hydrates to somewhere in the low 140's. Marquez looks to be I'n good shape already for this too.
I think, and hope, that history will remember the fact that on their most even plane, they were pretty much evenly matched. If Marquez puts up any significant resistance, this will be further cemented in collective memory.
He should have really done Juan dirty like Floyd and changed the weight to 146 last minute.:yep. That was some real bull****.
it also bothers me how people write off jmm because of how bad he got wiped out in the floyd fight. he was terribly out weighed being floyd didn't make weight and probably hydrated to over 150 lbs, plus floyd is way more fast and skilled than pacman
why would that be its my opinion honestly. i am not a pacman hater but I dont think its a question that his boxing skills are better than pacmans. I actually am not a big fan of floyd either and I believe that. Pacman is great in his own way but im talking purely about boxing skills.
PAC will throw much harder punches than the first two meetings and this time JMM will never rise after having floored by PAC.... PAC by Stoppage!!!
