JMM despite his size is leagues above Margarito, Cotto, or Clottey. Against Floyd he was fighting the best fighter from 147-154 at the time. JMM may get dropped, but he's never one to stay there. Many heard Solis saying Gamboa was a bigger puncher than Pacman. Pacman was able to ko a face first fighter like Hatton putting his complete weight and leverage, he'll connect on Marquez, but the effect won't be as devastating because JMM is a more mobile fighter and much more intelligent. You could say he's the smartest fighter today that doesn't use defense as a first priority. Whether JMM finally actually shows his age in this one or not, it's going the distance. Pacman knows JMM is just as brave as anyone out there and will be dangerous from the beginning to the end. Once JMM finds that momentum Pacman will be in for a very, very long night. JMM is still one of the best technicians in the game it will be a very close fight. IF Pacman does win impressively, by ko or domination, then he might be ready for Floyd. Most of his fights with the exception of Clottey have been flukes against zombies. Clottey was the only one that wasn't recently ko'd or past his prime. Even though he's not a young lion either.

 

Marquez can come it at 140 lbs if he wants. As long as you are below the maximum weight, you're fine. You don't need to make the max weight.

Look at what Pac did against Margarito. He didn't bloat up to make the weight. He came in at the weight he was comfortable at.

Stop making excuses.

 

It seems that most people think that Pac cant be knocked out. News Flash, he can and JMM might be the one to do it. He got rocked but he also rocked Pac in their last fight. I will never play JMM cheap cause that man has got all the tools and age wont be a handicap in this fight. Just saying.:bbb:bbb:bbb

 

JMM will make it a very difficult fight for Pac.

My pick is that it will be very similar to their first 2 outings.

 

Many people talked about the weight issue in this fight and blamed Pacquiao for taking an advantage over JMM on that issue. JMM could fight Pacquiao at 126 and 130 so I can't see why the hell he can't fight him at 144 since they both are the same size. It isn't the same as Haye v.s. Wladimir or Adamek v.s. Vatali.

 

i really love jmm he is a pure boxer and a real warrior but i gotta tell you in this fight he is in way over his head.first of all the weight is bad for him,this fight should have happened at 140,135 would have been perfect.then the age thing ,jmm is 38 i think and has started to show it.pacs power will be to much at 144 and pac is a much better fighter than last they meet.this fight wont last 6 rds,pac by knockout or tko.jmm undoing will be that he wont run from manny like mosley did and thats gonna get him hurt.i love manny but he is really doing marquez dirty in this deal,this fight should have happened along time ago at 135.shame on you manny.
