probably. i think marquez is big enough now that he can headline a ppv event. what do u think? im almost certain that the vast majority of those buys were made by mexicans.
I doubt it. The appetizing questions regarding where the two stand have been more or less settled, with Marquez being more capable than expected and Pacquiao less improved and versatile as they had thought. Marquez would have to beat Pacquiao down one-sidedly or knock him out to get the decision on the scorecards, and Pacquiao would have to do the same in order to win convincingly to the vast majority of the public; since both things aren't likely to happen, I don't think people will think it's worth watching. Not to mention the fact that while it was a competitive technical fight, those aren't the kinds of performances that have people spending their dollars in an economy like today's.
I think you're missing a piece of the puzzle. Even if it outsells III, which I'm not sure it will, it will almost certainly end up being less financially beneficial to Top Rank and Pac. The ball's in Marquez' court now. He holds the balance of power in any negotiations. If you think he'll take the same financial terms for IV as he did for III, think again. For III, he'd have taken any deal necessary to get another shot. This time, he's in a position to demand a much bigger slice of the pie. They need him; he doesn't need them. In some ways this a good thing; it might be enough to make Mayweather look like a more attractive option.
That's what I'm thinking and hoping for. I think Marquez at this point has no problem saying "Cut me the best deal possible, or you and Floyd can go **** yourselves."
Despite the tendencies of the OP, the most trollish comments in this thread so far have been your image spamming.

no it won't Marquez fans feel snubbed by this....the only way it will is if it happens in Mexico :deal no ****ing way, I was there at Pac-Marquez 3 Mexicans made the pilgrimage from Mexico City to Vegas to see their Fighter get robbed.... I heard and saw the things they said and did, this will not out sell 3
U wish. Pac can draw at least a mill at this point fighting just about anyone. People forget Marquez was a 9-1 underdog before the fight. Same for the Mosley fight.
