and many people thought pac was on the decline, perhaps a bit decline for me but he is improving as a boxer, he's learning how to defend well and use that right. I saw a fast right hook he did the similar speed in which cotto uses his right hook, step in quick and bam right hook to the body
cant hit what you can catch? I didn't see pac displaying great evasive ability last night, now way can he keep hatton off him, hatton late stoppage
This thread pretty much sums up both the fickle hysteria that is commonplace post-fight, and also a severe lack of knowledge.
That goes along with what I said about 99% of people on this board being ******s who don't think with logic.
hmm.... didn't you see pac slipping punches and delivering counters. how about his head and side to side movement. pac blocked most of david's punches with his arms, elbows and gloves. david's corner even mentioned that he was hitting pac's arms and elbows most of the time. pac has under-rated D because of his great O.
If Hatton can close the gap on Mayweather he can damn well close the gap on Pac. Plus Pac doesnt hit as hard or is as physically as strong as Mayweather. Also at some point in the fight Pac WILL have to stand his ground and thats when he will find Hatton too big and too strong.
You are from Manchester so you probably think Ricky Hatton literally turned water into wine. Of course it is a winable fight, would you bet your house on Hatton winning?
maybe pac should have fought on all the cards tonight ala foreman. would have had to give him stilts to fight tye fields though.. what a joke this hype is turning into. manny's great now doubt but now he beats the world gimme a break!
It's still amazing how few posters actually take the quality of opposition into account. It's as if laying a hand on Diaz, Lockett, or Hopkins are about the same level of difficulty.
