IMO both Morales and MAB had started to decline around the time they faced each other for the trilogy.

Both were relatively young but in boxing years they were almost over the hill by then!

This seems to be a fallback for Mexicans who need to take solace in Eric's defeat. Prime vs Prime? I don't think we have seen Pac's prime yet. He fought one-dimensionally in the first Morales fight, and still had Morales wobbly and nearly KO'd despite a bad cut. Pacquiao improved steadily under Freddie Roach.

Prime vs Prime? I think Manny will answer that question definitively in due time. Although it is quite obvious any version of Morales will have trouble with Manny's power, speed, and constantly improving boxing skills.

A prime Mab would lose to Pacman 100 times out of 100 :good

Morales prime was at 122 were he was 1 of the best ever at the weight & probably never found the same consistency at 126 & 130 although his skills & sheer will enabled him to overcome every other top fighter & remain unbeaten.

I think his come forward style knocked yrs off him, he is the same age as Mayweather yet one is still in his prime & the other is all done but the fans got their money`s worth & that was always the main thing to Morales. He always fought for the people.

If EM fought a little smarter earlier on in his career then he would be still near his prime & had that 4th world title as Diaz wouldnt have heard the final bell IMO.

Forget 135 as EM was shot for those 2 fights.... I`d flip a coin between EM & Pac at 130 but I`d bet on EM to beat Pac decisively at 126 & 122.

All in all... I think Morales was the better prime fighter but credit to Pacman also for the true warrior & great fighter he is, we need more like Erik & Manny.... TRUE WARRIORS.

    BIGGEST MYTH IN BOXING

The 1st & 3rd fights were 2 of the most even world title fights Ive ever seen & a draw for both was fairer than a win for either but they got 1 each so it kinda evens itself out..... BUT.....
The 2nd fight was a clear win for Morales & that WAS Barrera`s peak, forget judges, we know all about them, Morales won the only clear meeting between the 2 & they stole it from him through boxing politics in hope of a 3rd fight.

Morales was the best of the mini fab 4 IMO.

You can enjoy all the assumptions of could have, would have..
Believe in what you want to believe.. imagine what you want to imagine.
    It's FREE!

Now, If you want to talk a REALITY. Here's reality for buddy!

PAC vs Morales1 = UD moreles
PAC vs Morales2 = Pac by KO
PAC vs Morales3 = Pac by KO

PAC vs Morales, 2 of 3 pac wins
That is the fact, No if's but but's, no would have, no could have..

Now, if you want to go back to DREAMLAND... you can even imagine
Morales ko pac on this first min of the first round! No problem.
    Imagining is for FREE
