This is going to be like RJJ and Tarver moving up to HW and then try to move back down to their normal weights. We seen what happened to both of them. First off, Pacman is going to lose, but win the biggest payday of his career. What happens after the fight, he moves down to LW and gets his ass handed to him by all the LW champs? Good move as far as making money, but bad move to take on Oscar. Oscar and his team can't be serious as saying Pacman is the best compeitition and toughest fight out there. Some of you guys are possibly right by saying when Oscar wins, he will possibly fight one more time on Cinco de Mayo with hopefully Margarito.
I don't blame manny for going after this big money fight,,,,but as a fan there are so many great fights at 135, their is at lest five that come to mind,,,,,,,katdias, juan diaz, campbell, cashimoire, an khan in about a year or maybe a year an half,,,,
Yes, but will he hurt himself by putting on this extra muscle and then trying to move back down to LW? Ten to twelve pounds of added muscle and then to lose it is murder. He would have to take a long layoff. The LW champs have no alternative, but to wait for him to come back down. Also, Hatton will be eyeing a money purse... I mean fight with him.
I think Pacman loses to the top 135 fighters already. I dont see Pacman beating Campbell or Guzman either way.
Manny has been very cool about fighting top-notch comp. Let the kid score a big payday for ****s sake. I've been to P.I. and seen the degree of squalor the cat had to live in. It's ****ing nasty stuff, peeps. Go getchoo some cabbage, Manny.
I guess not . . . but we can only guess and speculate. Take note that the guy will be earning an estimated $ 20 Million in this fight . . . andf I hate to think about it but "money changes" a fighter's attitude towards the sports. We will see.
Good move because Manny will be make as much money as fighting all those guys together. He can literally retire after this fight.
