Hmm he torn his shoulder two weeks before the fight and reinjured his torn shoulder doing the fight but yet he's not going to the doctor to rehab cause he said "I'm recovering faster then expected." Really? Recovering faster then expected after two torn shoulder???? And you believe that **** you put in this thread????
Well he's not doing himself, or anyone else, any favors by making excuses. If he can battle the more dangerous and much larger Margarito with ****ed up ribs, he can fight Mayweather with a torn shoulder.
You are a complete bafoon! You obviously have no concept of what a torn rotator cuff is like. I tore mine in High School and the pain was horrible and really didnt allow me to move it the way i wanted too. I took nearly 2 years to feel like i was back at 100%. I think everyone outside of the hardcore flo.mos feels cheated by May 2nd. I have friends that are floyd fans who simply were disappointed by floyds performance and feel cheated by Manny. What was manny supposed to do is what i tell them. Pp the fight for a year? It sucks because we never got the closure we wanted. Floyds win wasnt decisive and it turns out he beat an injured manny so questions remain in the minds of non Flo.mos. Floyd showed ZERO ability to hurt Manny, landed 12 punches a round and didnt appear to be able to keep up in what few exchanges there were. I have no doubt Manny beats floyd 5 years ago and clearly floyd knew this hence why he avoided manny for 5 years.
Uhm, forget about his management not publicing this interview... how about his management being okay with Pacquiao going into a fight with a torn cuff? They should have ensured Pacquiao was in the 100% clear to receive the shot. But, I'll still answer the question... the reason they don't publicize the interview is because only a minority thinks the injury is faked. Dan Rafael and Lance Pugmire have released many articles about the subject and verifying its legitimacy. So, in other words, they didn't need to. However, his team failed on many levels when it came to the injury before the fight. They should have protected him, and instead, they did the exact opposite.
I'm disappointed in Floyd's performance too. Nothing we can do now, it was complete waste of time and that's not anyone's fault.
How can you go 12 rounds with a torn rotator cuff and never mention it, not even once, during the fight? Where was the shoulder massage in the corner, the ice pack? Why couldn't we the viewers notice any sign that Pac was injured during the fight? How do you continue to throw punches if the rotator cuff is torn? How is it possible his shoulder is never mentioned once by his corner?
How do you know he never mentioned it?? Were you in the corner the entire time? Fortune and Roach have said in interviews on multiples occasions that Pac was complaining to them in the corner, particularly after the fourth round. The only thing we saw was Roach repeatedly asking if he was okay later in the fight.
So where is the evidence that they tended to their fighters complaint? Ya know the way any other corner would respond to a torn rotator cuff?
if we're gonna talk about an injury noone talked about before the fight can we also bring Floyds brittle hands into account?
Spoken by someone who knows nothing about boxing. PBF would have beaten #48 even easier 5 years ago. #48 was more flawed and limited back then. Was #48 going to suddenly know how to cut off the ring, develop a jab, learn how to fight at more ranges make adjustments?:deal No he wasn't PBF was better 5 years ago to nothing changes in this fight and it's the reason why PBF was the favorite back then and today. Stop wishful thinking and be real with yourself. PBF is a horrible match up for #48 and beats any vesrion of him. You don't go life and death with JMM for 4 fights and beat PBF period.:deal
How do you respond to a torn cuff? They knew what he had. There was nothing they could do other then say go out there and try your best- which is exactly what roach told him after Pac said his shoulder was done.
Floyd ran and cheated his way to victory. Yes, If Pac was to low blow Floyd 20 times in the fight and had his Filipino refs not call foul that would be cheating. That's because low blows are illegal, just like all of Floyds, clinching, hugging and elbows. And how is that an excuse? The guy tore his shoulder and fought on. lol. That's not an excuse, that's a fact.
