JMM won ythat fight quite comfortably imo but Pac is the marketable fighter so money talks and talent walks in this case.

In what respect? Pavlik has a win over Miranda & two wins over Taylor. Compare that to Manny's resume. Theres no comparison. If we're talking talent wise I think both men are pretty one dimensional.

So is the midle weight division really **** now as well? Damm. Add that to the crap heavyweight division, the mediocre cruiserweight division, the old time light heavyweight division, super middle only has one eliter fighter, light middle is a lost cause, light welter is a joke, lightweight has an average 36 year old at the top of the tree. Boxing really is in a **** state at the moment, only the little guys are any where near good.

Both men are VERY 1 dimensional. What Pac has accomplished is a great feat though. His risen from flyweight to super feather and had great success as well as carrying his power. But the reality is his nothing more than a slugger with fairly fast hands who likes to throw. It makes for exiciting boxing and theres very few boxers past and present that could handle him.

In a prime for prime matchup though Naz KO`s him mid to late.

As for the Hatton Pac fight thats nothing short of a farce. The only reason why the fight is being mooted is because both fighters stand to make huge sums. Its farcical that Hatton can even consider a super feather as an opponent and yet will not cement 140 against the best contender in his division. Money talks. The bull**** runs the marathon.

Pac lost that fight by at 2 rounds IMO.

The judge who gave it to Pac by 3 rounds should be sacked. Pac doesn't impress me at all with his boxing abilities, relies on his power way too much.

No way is he above Calzaghe in the P4P rankings.

I don't why people are so surprised by Manny's apparent lack of ability because he has always been that way. He's just a brawler with a jab. I thought he lost the fight last night but he does excite people. I feel he has way over achieved given his size, remember he is essentially a blown up flyweight.

True he's pretty garb... His power and workrate set him aside though. I think he's easy to outbox but has good puinch resistance despite his stoppage losses... he's just a handful but not at all skilful. Seeing Pavlik and Pacman on p4p lists is pretty comical considering both have so little relative skill.

Yeah i must admit you must be pretty **** to beat 3 Future Hall of Fame fighters all ranked inside the top ten at one or another time.

and also you must be pretty useless as a fighter to go from winning a Flyweight World Title to a Super Featherweight world title.

    You guys a Priceless.

    Im still laughing.

Yeah when i think of Pacman yeah Garbage is the perfect word to sum up a Ring number #2 for the last 2 years.

I suppose you feel Calzaghe should be ranked higher than this garbage fighter who has fought and won titles in what 5 weight class's.

    Laughable.

barrera would always have trouble with pacquiao style's wise prime or not. he was never as good a counterpuncher as marquez. morales would probably have outboxed him, but would'nt put him away. just cause of a close fight, against a guy with a styles advantage over him in jmm, he's garbage all of a sudden?

My complaint is his lack of technical ability... he's a gr8 for sure but I don't find him pleasing to watch... Ur a fan totally understandable and he uses his assets well but I was gutted watching him beat an ageing but ultimately superior MAB and a shot Morales. His resume and achievements speak for themselves but he isn't that good technically.
