Aggression, 3 minutes a round. Simple. The way I see it he has the natural explosiveness to trouble Floyd but he has to get him off balance and then pour it on. Trying to be cute will get him popped. The odd faint, sure, but there should be little pausing between attacking.

    Opinions?

140 pac does this, not this version of pac. there is hope for pac though, maidana did not look to bad in the centre of the ring vs floyd and caught him more times then anyone thought he would, pac should be able to do this alot more and might make it interesting if he is able to hurt floyd with successive follow up punches.

i still think its a fairly clear UD for floyd

You do know that a UD is clear, not fairly clear, right?

yeh well floyd aient exactly doing so crash hot himself, no one is denying both fighters have lost steps in their game but both are still the 2 best fighters on the planet

pac coming off of wins over p4p top 5 lock in bradley and a destruction over algieri who i never felt deserved to be in with pac but atleast we got to see pac show something we have not seen from him in a long time

a fighter who is shot does not get quality wins and get placed as p4p #2

There are a lot of varaibles. Exactly how much trouble does Pac's natural style give him, and how far have each man degraded?

Pacman essentially needs to fight like he did in Barrera I. It may not be possible now, but he needs to bust his ass in trying to fight similar to that.

pac has declined much more then Floyd this is a fact I still feel pac would beat him the pressure is on Floyd most people are expecting him to win and I am cool with that it will make it more sweeter when he loses.........

pac's style ages very quick he has declined more this is a fact

Not sounding too confident there. Your tone was much different a few weeks ago.

Pacquiao's awkwardness and weird angle short punches might throw Floyd off a bit, but not enough to take over the fight as Mayweather adjusts.

After watching Pacquiao/Mosley again, I just don't see how Manny will win this fight, sans a KO. Brother Nas put together a very good game plan, Shane just couldn't pull the trigger.

Manny will hopefully land the straight left. That's it. Shoulder roll angle shouldn't work too good, Floyd's high guard is a far less effective style for him.

See Sharmba Mitchell fight: "He ain't gonna land em anyway" - straight left knocks his head back.

If Pac can land the left consistently he wins. If not, another Floyd clinic. I like Pac's chances, but his inability to hit Bradley and Marquez cleanly does trouble me. Still going with Pac through consistent landing of the left hand.

Manny will have to set-up/disguise his lefts better than he has in the past. He always feints right before he throws the straight and lunges in with a 1-2 or 1-1-2...but then again, it comes lightning quick which is why it has worked so well thus far.

He will also need to cut off the ring better than he has shown in the past.

pacs aggression, punch output, ability to throw punches from different angles, and speed are the keys to beating the defensive-minded potshotting floyd.

in order for floyd to win he will have to be precise with his punches and avoid pacs nonstop aggression which most fighters have a hard time doing.

Usually against Southpaws, Floyd actually beat them up and walked them down: Mitchell, Judah, Corley. I think that slight difference in angle gives him, for whatever reason, a need to change his usual style and brawl a bit. Just so happens he was worlds better than all of them. I hope Manny's angles will force him to do the same thing, which ends poorly for him.

Manny sucking so badly against Marquez has always troubled me, though. After the third fight I remember thinking ****, Pac really isn't any better than he was, and has little chance against Floyd, but there are differences in their styles that makes me more hopeful that Floyd will be hittable and less "durable" than Marquez.

I can't wait to see Floyd head bounce back with his eyes close.
