Well it's hard to deny his talent. Last two fights were somewhat underwhelming though IMO. He'll still go down as a top 25 ATG once his career is over.
**** article. "Pilipino" should be spelled "Filipino" and pacquiao is a congressman instead of a senator. i actually stopped reading when it says pac lacked any lateral movements. that goes to show the level of ignorance the author has.
So many things wrong with this. What a joke... Manny Pacquiao is a great fighter- but he lacks many boxing fundamentals that could make him epic. He lacks any real defense and has proven to be hit quite easily by some very large and slow opponents. Manny’s fighting style is very basic as he jumps forward and back constantly with almost no lateral movement. Pacquiao has certainly been a protected fighter by his promoter. He has not fought any tough fights for over 3 years since he won a controversial decision over Juan Manuel Marquez- many ringsiders felt that JMM won the fight. Manny has been KO’d twice in his career and he lost a decision in 2005. Some people will see what they want to see, I guess. There's nothing basic about Pacquiao's style. It's one of the most unique, improvisational styles I've seen.
It's a product of the mainstream media. They disappoint me too when it comes to their knowledge on the game.
not really. just look at the OP's history which i guess was the author of the same article. mainstream media could have made 1 or 2 errors but these bias article that has so many wrongs could only be a product of false writing with malicious intent. yeah i noticed that too. and if i remember it correctly, the poster is a troll or just a hater with all his previous posts
What a load of **** bull**** article no tough fights in 3 years? Maybe because pacs **** skills made it so tough for him against cotto, marg and clottey
