Overrated or not he is a once-in-a-generation type fighter(see Tyson, DLH, JOnes, PBF, etc) just relax and enjoy the next year or so!

It's a community blog, not the actual station, so it's actually a step lower than having a personal blog.

Simple fact - Pac's fights will be watched by many after he retires.... Mayweather's fights will be referenced when people ask the question, "who was that Pernell Whitaker type fighter who fought the lesser opposition?"

 In that case Mayweather, de la Hoya, Tyson, Leonard, Ali, Robinson etc were all overrated media creations. People love them because they are the best at the sport of boxing in their time period or encapsulate the audience or both. Manny is the continuation of that theme, even if he is flawed (which every single name I listed was in one way or another).

Styles make fights but... The writer of this article seems to be exaggerating Pac's flaws, he's then taking that exaggeration and making it seem as though a flaw or two technically would deny you greatness. I mean wasn't Henry Armstrong flawed technically, Ali was flawed technically as well, so was Pep, Duran etc, even SRR had flaws, though probably least of all. Not saying Pac is on their level, but he is great, and it's not just media hype.

He's not a writer, it's the freaking OP himself. Look at the writers name and the OP username.

Before Pac was a sensation he was a hall of famer so the article is a complete fail.

Enough credible names already agree Manny is at worst one of the greatest of all time.
No hype, the way he fights and the work he has put into his game deserves all the media attention and fan support if not more. A fighter like Manny comes so infrequently that whoever can't enjoy his skills does not appreciate boxing.

    LMAO.

I think its so funny some people are claiming that when infact he came from nowhere. Fought and worked hard on his way up. No-one in the western world knew who pacman was when he won his first world title at age 19.

He then came to the US and was considering a punching bag. Thats why he got 2 weeks notise to fight Ladweba that at the time had like a 20 world title defence under his belt.

And then the pacman was born. A very special fighter completly destroyed Ledweba.

Nahh Pacman aint a overrated Media creation however he do expose them. Hatton, Hoya etc.

Pacman is the real deal and any1 who claim otherwise is either a hater or simply uneducated.
