Pac is one dimensional but great fighter, that one dimension is amazing but he was never anywhere near Floyd as fighter, simply Floyd can fight which ever way he wants and has every detail in boxing covered, while Pac has many flaws for example he cant cut the ring off for starters...

 

The thread started after Pac faced and easily defeated the likes of Cotto, Margarito, and Clottey; much larger men than Pac who were all regarded as top welter weights and yet the article dismisses those accomplishments when is says "he hasn't fought any tough fights in 3 years."

Overrated in the fact that people built him up as the guy who would finally beat PBF then yes. He's a great fighter just not in PBF's class.

 

Pac is overrated if you put him in the top 20 atg but the way he has moved up in weight and still won is impressive, even considering the cherry-picked opponents.

It's the truth. His boxing IQ is trash. He's just been the better athlete and carefully matches against fighters and possibly on PEDs and is ranked mostly due to being "ENTERTAINING". All his top wins have been after a fighter lost or is close to ending his career or being drained or all of the above in some cases and it goes back all the way to Morales 2. Please stop. The public and media tried to make boxing American Idol judging on a popularity vote instead of looking at a fighters skill and ability to box. We all know many can fight, but against the slightest of movers or guys who don't stand in front of him and exchange, he's a C+ fighter. There's no need for charades anymore. He's a poor, ignorant character as well and is in no way a role model of the sport. So not only are his skills overhyped, so is his poor character. Not only that, ****er doesn't pay his taxes.
