Pacq: An Overrated Media Creation?

Good post. The guy was built up as the man who could finally take PBF down. He was a good fighter not worthy of the fighter of the decade and very flawed and limited especially in the areas that were needed to beat PBF. But people didn't want to see it they fall in love with speed punching power but like always underrate things like footwork defense and ring IQ. People like you and I always knew Pac wasn't the answer timely fights and not as good as people made him out to be. I mean a guy who goes life and death with JMM for 4 fights isn't going to be the guy to beat PBF period and it was easy to see. I never understood it, but I guess people hated PBF that much and wanted someone to believe in.

Now that it's finally over people see the truth revealed and PBF is the last man standing the better fighter and the best fighter of the era. While non believers are left with excuses and venom.

 

Truth and you were always consistent. Never changed your stance once on this matter.

 

Boy I think the boxing community are turning the daggers on PAciou,but I'm not suprised and gland if you up hold something that's not true and can't admit the truth and ride on the waves of lies,one day it's all going to come crashing down

He is overrated H2H. Very one dimensional fighter. Still great though.

 

The questioned is why,
Why was Paciou rated,what was it that made people think pac was that good
I saw it plenty of times that he was an ok fighter but never great
Was it media spin,
Biased net work commentry
Clever promotional tatics
Racsim
Jealousy
