Size and strength only make a difference if you have the skill to apply it. Maybe it's an obvious point to me and you, but not to some people on this forum.

And it still applies in boxing. Hence why you will see a boxer who is out-weighed by 15-20 pounds and can still not only win, but win convincingly. Margarito didn't have the skill necessary to apply his power and size advantage in the ring. It's a moot point. You can go throughout boxing history and find guys who beat up larger and stronger men.

When skill level is somewhat equal, size and power will make a larger impact. If somebody has a higher skill level, size and strength are less of a factor.

Bull. You imply that it is a common thing, but it's not. It's pretty ****ing rare but it does happen. If it was a common thing there wouldn't need to be different weight classes. That's the whole ****ing point. It's like you're arguing that the world is still flat when the universe knows it is round.

People move through the weight classes dude. It is common. There are plenty of examples in boxing history of the "smaller man" winning the fight. People do "move up in weight" to challenge the "larger fighter."

Yes, if the skill level is equal, the larger man should win. But that's not what I'm talking about.

I've bruised a rib and my sternum at different times. Yes, it hurts a bit when it happens but the full effect takes a few hours and then it is agony for both or either.

Having a big size advantage means something you can be as limited as rios but if he goes of and fights someone as skillful as rigo it means NOTHING

having a size advantage of 20 ibs at that level in the game is ****ing hard to overcome thats why most of the time the smaller guy TRIES to outbox the bigger guy very very rarely do you see the smaller guy trying to force the stoppage in the lower weight classes

so if chisora fought ward how would that go?:lol::lol:

as **** as chisora is his size advantage would count against ward and he would knock him the **** out

If you are so convinced that fighters are using ROIDS then why do you defend Manny declining OST and avoiding Floyd for about a good 3 years?
