    You have a point, recently we have seen many undefeated young fighters gets defeated by veterans, like Jones vs Karras, Vasquez vs Arce, Lopez vs Salido etc.

    So floyd who hasn't fought in over a year and just got drop from the rankings should still be champion? In that case manny should still be the 140 lbs champion even though he hasn't fought @ 140 since 2009.

    Therefore, Floyd is the champion @ 147 until he retires, is beat @ 147, or moves up in weight.

    when i said this would be a great fight for floyd if the manny fight falls through.
    i got 4 pages of bitching and moaning. weather he has the urge is irrelevant weather its a good fight IF it happens or not.

    It's normal dude just like it is with pacquaio. If he ain't fighting floyd then he is fighting a nobody. Even though i love to see pac-ortiz i could still see haters come out with excuses after pac beats ortiz.
