Regardless, Pac beat Oscar, Hatton, Mosley and Cotto easily much better than what Floyd did them. While he weight cheated Marquez to make sure of his victory.

Pac has done much better than Floyd overall against common opponents. (Other than JMM, who appears to be his 'Ken Norton')

But styles make fights, and Floyd's overall skillset would make him a slight favourite.

The main advantage Pac has is psychological.

    Floyd fears Pac.

For a while, that fear had subsided recently.

After tonight, it will haunt him again.

And if Pac destroys Bradley, Pac will fear him even more.

Don't think he will ever agree to face the Filipino.

What Pac did vs those guys have no bearing on if he will be able to beat Mayweather or not. None of those guys are Mayweather and none of those guys fight like Mayeather.

That's a touchy one. Considering how much more aggressive Pac can be it seems irrelevant too.

I think if Floyd boxes and moves he can win quite easily. If he backs up in straight lines, and decides to get into an exchange on the ropes he could have potential issues.

May won the fight. It was closer than his cum guzzling fans would like to admit but he was a clear winner.

With that, this dude gets clock with the left hand quite easily. By a slow 160 plus pound Cotto at that. If this was vicious left hook Cotto it would have been different but he lost his mojo a few years back.

It was a lot of wrestling going on. I wonder how Pac would react to May holding on like he did Cotto. It would be a big mistake to this with Pac.

After reading a few threads, apparently May fought a career Super Middleweight, who is the #1 fighter at 154, by beating the former #1, 2, 3, SMW fighters in the world, which were Foreman? Mayorga? Margarito?.... hold on...... Cotto isn't even the #1 154 fighter in the world, and Cotto started out at 140, he is not a career SMW, in fact he has not beating a top 5 SMW fighter ever, when is Cotto going to finally fight a top 5 smw? when is Canelo going to fight a top 5 SMW?

Mayweather vs Martinez at 160, May is going for the Middleweight #1 fighter in the world, just like Leonard, Napoles, Duran, Trinidad, DLH, Hearns, Armstrong, Robinson. Who doesn't want that fight????

Don't even think of bringing the "May is too small, May started out at 130" excuse.

    Duran started out at 120
    Armstrong started out at 120
    Napoles started out at 126
    DLH started out at 130
    Robinson started out at 135

3 of those fighters were shorter than May. No excuses, May should try and beat the #1 MW in the world.

What suprised me is that floyd hardly threw his overhand or right hand leads in the fight.

Not really the right lead, he found that the left uppercut was working. Also, did you see Miguel's left temple? Floyd was getting that right overhand a lot.

No he can't. Won't matter when Pacquiao won't fight him.

Then people would bring up that Marquez moved up two weight divisions, from a division where he had only had 2 fights before.

Then people would bring up that Mayweather also moved up from a lower division 130, and that Floyd would do the same with Marquez at any Division even FW.

Then people would bring up that May had been fighting at 147 and even fought at 154, May was a Welter at the time Marquez moved up form 135 to fight him, and had the fight been at 130 it would be much much closer.

Then people would bring up that May was 100 times better at 130 and would no doubt stop Marquez and beat him more convincingly, arguing that May beat Marquez due to skill and not Size, because size doesn't matter due to Marquez style.

Then a few people would bring up that May doesn't want to fight Martinez at 160 due to ZISE difference, which just a few seconds didn't matter due to Marquez's style, but then size did matter when May fought Cotto at 154, saying that "May beat cotto at a weight where may is not comfortable at", and that "Pac only stopped Cotto because he drained him 2 pounds".

That leads to the conclusion that weight matters "sometimes".

I say Make a tournament, Super 6 style.

    Marquez
    Pac
    May
    Martinez

    Marquez vs Pac at 143
    May vs Martinez at 157
    Marquez vs May at 147
    Martinez vs Pac at 154
    Marquez vs Martinez at 150
    Pac vs May at 150

:yep the tournament that creates more questions than answers.
