Both fighters moved up in weight kicking major ass....

Both fighters were looking to move up to fight the #1 fighter in the world.
    (Tito - Roy Jones)
    (Pacquaio - Floyd Mayweather)

Both fighters are fighting guys who have only 1 TRUE loss in their careers and are being underestimated.
(BHOP - Only to Roy Jones, screw his professional Debut)
(Cotto - Only to Margacheto and we know the deal on this)

I want Manny to win, but I keep getting the same feeling that I had back in 01 that Manny, like Tito, is really biting off more than he can chew............

The only way Manny can win this fight is if Cotto has deteriorated and I don't think that's the case. Manny CAN'T win this fight on the inside, and he WON'T outbox Miguel.....Manny has great head movement, but he's not an "elusive" fighter by any means.....He's gonna get "touched"

    Can't wait!!!

The fight won't last past mid way...

Cotto is gonna smash Pacman up....

Pacman is not pound for pound number 1..

    ha ha ha

    what has he done..?

Tito-Hopkins is an appropriate comparison, but I think Cotto-Pacquioa could be similar to Sanchez-Gomez!

I picked Cotto from the start, Have you guys noticed a lot of people switching from Pacman to Cotto? I think Cotto is to strong for Pacman.

I really dig your toughts here... it could be... we all thought that Tito was going to walk thru B-Hop and the better skilled fighter won. Manny has to win this with his in and out style and we have seen Cotto being able to really jab his way to neutralize this strategy. PAC can't win on the inside... We are definately looking for a war here and Miguel is going to come up on top!

Yeah, except A) current Cotto is nowhere near the fighter B-Hop was, and B) Tito was never the fighter Pacquiao has become. Similar in theory but not in actuality.

In Tito's case, getting away with a major robbery,
oh, and the glove situation is still a question on that guy too.

Exactly Tito was a one tricky pony and his power was eventually gonna run out the higher up he went. Pac is more than that.

And Cotto is really good but he isnt the same kind of trap setting fighter that Hopkins is

I see what you're saying but it wont be that kind of fight.

If Pac can live with Cottos strength then Cotto is in big trouble but if pac gets clipped early and feels it , its Cottos fight.

Tito was already showed to be how limited he was against Oscar, Oscar outboxed him...then he went up to face one of the best technical boxers in the sport.

Pac has never really been "outboxed" that badly, even against JMM, you could say those rounds were very close and not the embarrasment Tito-ODLH/Winky/Hopkins was. Its also safe to say that technically, JMM is a level above Cotto.

Cotto doesnt have the speed to keep up with Pac, and this being Pac's 3rd fight around 140-147, I think he's probably gonna be even better.

Heard that a gazillion times now...... I'm not saying cotto will be a walk in the park, but the only thing manny has to do is beat cotto to the punch. It's pac speed vs cotto's timing. If pac's speed proved to much for cotto, he's pretty much ****ed because pac has some serious power in both hands and is relentless. Pac will throw punches unlike judah or clottey who simply did'nt do enough ( although I still believe clottey won). Cotto's power will only come to play if he can time manny perfectly.
