ESB members rip on this fight constantly...Pac man did start at 107 and has moved up a LOT of weight...He is naturally a MUCH smaller man than Oscar.

That said, THIS WILL BE A GREAT FIGHT. Can't you guys realize this? Oscar is going to go out in an action fight...win or lose. He won't box his way to victory. he wants an emphatic end to his career. Pac Man's fights are always action friendly...

Mostly, my frustration with the board members is that they believe this fight is a joke? How is it a joke? Oscar WON'T be that big of a favorite...Thus it'll likely be a very competitive fight with a lot on the line for both fighters.

Which fight is more financially sensible? Pacquaio or Margo? I'd say pac man...there is a lot more intrigue in this fight than there would be in a margo fight.

And margo would likely beat oscar up. Why would he want to end his career on that note?

Margarito ain't got no reason to fight DLH and DLH has no reason to be fighting Margarito. Just because DLH is a name with money doesn't make him worth a shot at Margarito. Are you guys kidding me? It makes zero sense unless you're Margarito who wants to clean up.

This fight will be competitive and entertaining. Like the OP said DLH is going out in a all action fight and we really couldn't ask for more. He'd be running for his life against Margarito/Williams and putting us to sleep against Mora/Trinidad.

I can't see DLH winning a decision. It would get sloppy down the strech. Unless he scores a mid round TKO DLH may succomb to Pacman's pressure. Believe it.

That's blasphemy! Oscar has never been afraid to fight the best fighters. Just look at his resume. Don't hate just because he wants a slightly easier fight in his last one before retirement.

The thing he overlooked though... I don't think Pac is too small.. that little guy is a warrior and I know for sure his speed will bother DLH. This thing might come back and bite him in the ass

Exactly. Margo-De La Hoya wouldn't be as much of an action fight as pac man oscar; there will be a LOT of fireworks

A joke?, I don't think this fight will be a joke, if anything it will be too risky(for Pacquiao) and also competitive. The frustration comes from fans who would rather see Pacquiao stay at his weight and fight the MANY available opponents at 135 and 140. I'm a HUGE Pacquiao fan and can understand if the money and insane recognition is keeping him thinking about this fight but for boxing it will be better to stay at his weight with the many other options there.

We're talking guys like Casamayor/Baby Bull Diaz/Campbell/Khan/Marquez/Guzman/Soto at 135 and Hatton/Malignaggi/Holt/Torres/Bradley at 140 all for one fight against DLH two weights above.

the fight is a joke and it has nothing to do with it being competitive or not. If Pac wants to prove himself at the higher weight why is he fighting Oscar? Where is Oscar in the list of best fighters in the world today? If Pac really wants to test himself at WW there are plenty of legit challenges there. This fight is nothing more than $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Pacquiao doesn't have the raw skills to appease me in this challenge. He's fighting a guy who is bigger than he, who is a better boxer than he. That's what makes this a joke IMO. Pacquiao is a run-and-gun brawler/destroyer. His best left hand missle strikes will bounce off of De La Hoya's head like rain drops off a tin roof.
