Did anyone else watch the manny movie and see pac pressing his arms against his ribs to protect them after the margo fight? crazy how a former flyweight went toe2toe with a 170 ib fighter outweighing him 20 pounds he beat the guy up with broken ribs that fight shows you what manny is all about even with broken ribs he slugged it out with a fighter outweighing him 20 pounds anyone who boxed knows that a fighter outweighing you 20 pounds does not even have to be that good yet because of the size advantage its a big risk
"dat A side meth doe" - a certain fighters casual fans. Yeah, its funny to think how many times Manny has been the under dog in his career, yet he comes out the other side by annihilation and people still claim he is a cherry picker :good
even after the pac fight when cotto fought him again cotto could not even hurt toni and was running away that proves even more how special pac is
crazy man toni was outweighing him by 20 pounds you just dont fight a guy like that toe2toe even cotto knew this in the rematch toni put all his 170 weight into the bodypunch that hurt pac pac just greeted his teeth turned him round and pounded him:deal
I've had a cracked rib before. It was one of the most irritating injuries I've ever had, just breathing was painful, I can't even imagine how bad it would suck to have a guy punching you right after they have been broken.
yep, I noticed it too, especially during that interview after the fight where he had to crouch down to ease the pain. The man is a hero!
yea, i think it was around the 6th or 7th rd. pacs legs almost gave out and he sat on the ropes for a second. i saw the footage in his movie that was taken after the fight, he had to stop in the middle of talking and just bent over in pain. he is one tough sob.
Yeah that's when Pac was under the influence of Ariza's suspicious shakes! Ever since Ariza left camp, Pac hasn't possessed the same power or chin. Margarito hurt Pac to the body in one of the middle rounds that nearly made Pac take a knee. Despite all that, Pac is still an incredible fighter who I love to watch
Yea one of the reasons why he is so loved he had a broken rib fighting a fighter who was outweighing him by 20 pounds and fought fire with fire
yea and to think the guy took punches from a 170 fighter when he himself was a flyweight the fight with toni showed everything speed power will toughness
First post you state broken ribs yet above you mention a single broken rib. Obviously either is painful but which is it? I'm of the mindset that he may have injured or bruised his ribs, or maybe Tony did that for him, but I am not sure I believe he fought with a broken rib or broken ribs, having experienced them myself. Breathing is painful, let alone moving. I wonder what's more painful - fighting with broken ribs or 250k PPV buys... ouch!
:huh pac's first pro fight, he was well below strawweight which was even lighter than the statement. against margo, pac was 148 on fight night and tony was 165.
You ta rds need to stop playing that angle. When Pac fought Margarito he was basically a Jr Middle. :deal
