Comparison of the 154 division Buddy. I personally think pac holds a better resume at 147 and under. But also feel his so called 8th weight division title is a total joke and that Margo is a super hype job. His only goof win is a questionable win against cotto.

Margo could never beat Manny or floyd . PAC beats him more impressively due to styles but margo would just get pot shotted all night against floyd.

Before you start the name calling, go back and re read and notice I said Manny holds better resume (although floyd is right there also). Not a fan boy of either but its clear to see that this thread is to nut hug. Many fighters have fought through broken bones, hell jmm had a broken nose in the first fight against PAC in the first round! Imagine being punched 11 more rounds to a broken nose draining blood down your throat as you grasp for air, now also consider Manny landing his power left to your broken tender painful nose. Manny is nothing less of a atg warrior but the Margarito win didint do anything for him.

Also, its not Floyd's fault canelo didn't rush him, if anything is speaks volumes of Floyd's boxing ability and shows he has enough pop to keep a bigger and heavier canelo think twice about coming in.

No name calling here. In terms of significance there is no doubt Mayweather/Canelo is much greater than Pacquiao/Margarito and I too question the 154 title as well. Ill agree with you there. However in terms of excitement/entertainment/display of heart I feel Margarito eclipsed Canelo's performance against Mayweather by country mile. I also feel Margarito at his best (barring the plaster accusations) would put a beating on the 152lb Canelo that showed up against Floyd. I wouldn't pound my chest for it though.

 

No doubt excitement was greater in PAC vs margo. But Floyd's not to blame, canelo didn't rush him. It was a one sided fight and we have to ask why canelo didn't rush him? Obviously floyd had enough pop to make him think twice before rushing in.

A better boxer in cotto, did put on a exciting fight against floyd. We saw floyd get hit and bloodied up and to my suprise he would at times walk down cotto or fight stationary allowing cotto to land. I think in the 11th round floyd stunned and wobbled cotto and perhaps could have got a knock down had he pressured him more.

I think both guys are great in their own respect, fan of both. Canelo against margo???? Idk man, would be a good fight but I can see advantages were both can win.
