i wouldn't bet the house on Pacs victory.....Cotto's got the tools as well as size to end his momentum, but we'll have to see if he can put them use correctly

and uhh....as far as being shot at 28 goes, it's nothing new, wasn't Barrera shot at 29 after Pac beat him?

haters will always hate, but deep down inside they know if Pac wins that it's another great achievement, and although i'm rooting for Cotto i'm a ******* too and i wont be too upset if Pacman takes the W

can't wait for this fight, it should be historic :happy

    Well said.

REAL boxing fans should never be upset as long as they see a good fight.

when fighters move up in weight their punch resistance increases. look at james toney fighting at heavyweight.

A boxer can always improve his technical skills but he can`t improve his chin. Pac has been on the canvas before and by smaller guys. Cotto is naturally stronger and has more punching power than manny has ever felt.
If Cotto touches that chin it's lights out.

Pacquiao never tasted real power?, have you been living in a trash can?

Pacquiao took punches from guys like Morales, Marquez, Barrera, Larios, DLH(yes he landed), Hatton(yes he landed too) and many more. The real question here is how will Cotto handle Pacquiao's power when it's obvious he has poor defense and punch resistance.

It should be interesting but i think pac's defense is underrated. He has gotten better defensively and is not as wild as he once was. Now he is more cautious when he gets his opponents hurt. Remember when he got delahoya in trouble on the ropes, he didn't just rushed in and start throwing punches. He picked his shots instead of going all wild and giving delahoya a chance to knock him out.

Anyways i think pac should be fine as long as he doesn't get hit flushed, he should be able to take it. If he gets hit like he hit hatton then expect him to get KO same with cotto if pac land that same shot he hit hatton with.

Zab Judah had Cotto in trouble...Don't think I really need to say more than that if I didn't want to.

Cotto is a good fighter, but honestly if he wins...It'll be by power alone. He HAS TO knock Manny out! Manny is to active to really get beaten by UD imo. Cotto isn't the counterpuncher, or boxer that would be able to get a UD. Honestly, if Pac would fight Mayweather like he's fought his last fights, and I do believe Mayweather to be the most superior boxer that Pac could fight....I would say Pac is to active for Mayweather to beat unless he KOed him as well, or a gift decision.
I know people hate hearing it, but Pac is truly a DAMN MONSTER! He has everything going for him. Power, fast hands, fast movement, evasive, can take a punch, experienced, and in his prime. He can lose, but most of his opponents would be considered *lucky* IMO, or they simply KHTFO!

u guys are delusional if you think pac can evade cotto for 3 straight minutes of every round and not get hit flush! his wins over a weight drained, old de la hoya and an overrated hatton are really building him up to more than what he is! cotto is being underrated here cause of his last 2 performances. he was boxing beautifuly against margo. margo is just a freak of a ww and kept on coming (possible loaded gloves). same against clottey, he was fighting with one eye and still got it done! ya'll make it sound like cotto has no boxing ability what so ever. his speed, footwork and jab are way better than people give him credit for. pac will see that come nov. 14th!

hmmm... i heard this line before...oh.."do you think Pac can evade Hatton for 12 rounds? Hatton is much stronger and is good at cutting the ring...etc.."

But yeah, Cotto will be in perfect form, and this should give us a good treat!
