To be clear - I'm not hating on Pacquiao. Timing has more to do with it and he would have been a terrible matchup for most of those fighters at any point in their respective careers.

5-10 years from now, Pacquiao will settle into his rightful place on the ATG list and he will be up there with the best of them. Top 10 is not out of the question. Top 5 wouldn't surprise me too much. Sugar Ray Robinson & Henry Armstrong have 1 & 2 on lock.

Which is why I'm being nice about it and not considering how battle worn he was.

    Both by brutal KO.

He knocked down Mosley at his best fighting weight, shot or not shot...

    that's QUITE an achievement.

Pac was brutally KOd twice before fighting them. Evens things out by your logic.

    :good

Knocking him down and turning him into a runner is a notable achievement regardless of where Mosley was in his career. For Mosley, and De la Hoya for that matter, HOW he beat them almost (but not quite) offsets WHEN he beat them.

Mayweather couldn't even crack a 38 year old Mosley's jaw...

Shane's face before and after those 2 fights with Mayweather and Pacquiao are quite telling.

Cue the *****s to discredit pac's achievements in 3....2.....1..

What Mosley was reduced to last night is the most shocking thing about last night's fight. Never in a million years would I have expected Mosley to become a runner. Gunshy? Yes. Tentative? Absolutely. Running away? Didn't see that coming.

Also, I don't think I overrated Shane's chin. Manny is just THAT explosive.

Next up he's gonna dig up the bones of Sugar ray Robinson and beat the **** of them to make it 8!! and to make him the GOAT!! who cares what condition the Hall Of famers were in when he fought them. Pacman should **** up Ali in his wheelchair then he'd beat the greatest heavyweight of all time too and cement his status as the geratest human that ever lived

He'd have to beat ortiz to be lineal at ww. Same way he'd have had to beat ayala and jmm at sbw and lw respectively.

People can dismiss the victories over oscar and shane the guys were clearly shot. That being said oscar was a favourite and shane was the third best boxer in his division so they're still notable, just not as much so as the other 5, imo.
