Pac by decision. Cotto will have some moments but he is too inconsistant!

Pac wins by TKO8. I'm seeing a cuts stoppage in this one.

slightly favor pac as cotto has looked vulnerable quite a few times. but you have to remember one thing. pacquiao chin has yet to be tested at 140 and above.

I like Cotto in this fight, But he will get rocked a few times how he deals with that will decide who wins the fight, I think Cotto has more than a legit shot here, he wont rush in like Hatton, he wont sit there and allow Manny to hit him the way Oscar did.

Cotto knows how to deal with speed, he has also faced some southpaws, his timing is going to be key in this fight and I think he will prevail in the end, late stoppage for Cotto.

I am not complaining or anything I just want to know why Roach didnt jump on the Mosley fight at 140 I mean damn he would have had an easy win over a weight drained old man who beat the man who stopped Cotto.

taking the fight at 145 really isnt much of an advantage for Pacquiao, I have no idea what they are thinking but I know for a fact its going to back fire.

Neither fighter will take too much damage...
Roach will defo throw in the towel before PAC receives any serious damage.
(I imagine JunaMa Vs. Penelosa like type exchanges, w/Cotto taking the JML role)

Don't expect Papa Roach to allow MP to receive that type of damage tho.
If it's a stoppage, Cotto forces the ref to stop it. (Repeated blows)
If it goes 12rds, Cotto by wide UD.

I like Cotto but Pac will win by decision. Cotto will tire like he usually does around round 7 and Pac will take advantage, although Cotto does have plenty of power to hurt Pac. Roach will have an awesome gameplan for him.

    Cant wait! :bbb:!:

cotto might get stopped on cuts or accumilation of punches. stylelistically he's open to uppercuts from southpaws especially those rapid ones pacman throws. although pac wont be able to knock him out clean he has a high chance of stoping him as a TKO.

moviing on. people will argue that cotto hits way too hard for many, but manni's speed and high workrate will tame that power and this will actually make it an interesting fight knowing that cotto can turn it around any second.

I think if you get tired or make a mistake against pacman you get stopped str8 away. pacmans work rate is the same from round 1 to round 12. relentless and Im afrtaid wen cotto tires his deffense leaks and then he gets stopped by a series of punches

Pacquiao TKO5. If **** slow, predictable, zero skill, zero movement and one dimensional Margarito was able to land slow ass pathetic uppercuts like 6 times in a row then wait till you see what Pac will be able to land.

Pacquiao is an overachiever if ever there was one in boxing. Cotto theoretically has the size, power and tools to beat Pac, but is he the type of fighter who will maximize his strengths when it counts the most? That's where Pac has the advantage in my opinion, he is simply capable of one grandiose 100% performance after the other.

Pac by TKO around round 8 - 10

Good analysis but I think Cotto's confidence is gone beaten out of him by Margo. Once he starts to get hit he will start to retreat and go to the ropes. He won't tie up Pac to buy time or break up his rhythm either because of some stupid code he has it will lead to his down fall in this fight. He has a chacne but only if he learns to clinch and tries to rough up Manny. Cotto can fight dirty if he wants to see Clottey, Urkal and Zab for reference I suggest he employ these type of tactics to get into Pac's head and throw him off.
