Nope. I will repeat this for you, as I've answered a similar question already.

Instead of doing somethng unique to make this fight standout more, Pac takes the fight at the same C/W Floyd did. It was considered shameful for Floyd to face a blown up LW. Yet, the P4P #1 turns around and does the same thing. WTF??? **** is **** whether it's wrapped in a fancy bow or not. If that's what we are calling it, when it pertains to Floyd, same applies to Manny.

If Floyd ran behind Pac and fought Cotto at 145lbs, Clottey, then Margarito at 150lbs, I would be calling him out on it too.

When Floyd signed on to fight JMM at 144 I said the same thing. Which is a fight that looks good on your resume. The only differences JMM and PAC have history which breaths a little extra life in selling the fight.

This fight will be a complete blow out. JMM is not the same fighter he was when they first faced one another. JMM is fighting above his ideal against a bigger, younger, stronger and faster fighter. The same deal when JMM fought a 146 Floyd Mayweather.

We agree for the most part. I have a sneaky feeling this "old legend" is not just coming to collect a check. He will give Manny some problems, and Manny will have to hurt him bad this time to prevent this fight from looking competitive. I just don't see this being quite as easy for Manny as it was for Floyd. The styles will dictate this, as I'm sure you know.

fight night jmm was 146 i believe...floyd weighed 149 fight night against ortiz...such a huge gap right?

do you get what im saying, weight isnt going to determine the outcome of this fight. skill,along with his speed and power, does.

of course, i dont discount marquez pulling a miracle. this is his second fight at hhigher weight, he must have learned something from the mayweather fight.
id venture to say that is TO NOT GET CAUGHT UP IN THE WEIGHT DIFFERENCE TOO MUCH. train and fight at his most comfortable weight.

i somewhat agree with your assessment on how the fight pans out. however, id say its not about wichh round the fight ends. its when pac connects with his right, that will be the start of the end. thats the time when marquez starts to lose track of pac's left, then BOOM. its over just like that. of course i could be wrong.

I do understand what you are saying Sunn, and you do make valid points. :good

Clearly Manny has no fault in carrieng his speed and power at higher weights. But he does and it's clear that Marquez can not do that in the same fashion. Therefore they will take him into that area where they have the advantage. You know what I'm saying.

True, in this sport the impossible sometimes happens, one mistake or a bad night can cost the best the fight. I just doubt that will be the case here Sunn.

Bottom line, I just do not like these tactics, I don't care if it's DLH doing it or whoever. But if you are ok with it, then more power to you my friend. :good
