now Floyd no doubt is a Pure Boxer and a master one at that no doubt....but Manny on the other hand, is the ultimate Hybrid fighter, he has characteristics of all 3 types, yet doesn't really fit in to one

he has the speed and footwork of a Pure Boxer,the power and mindset of a slugger, and the ferocity and workrate of a swarmer.....which is why is he as good as he is

so to say he is one dimensional is foolish, and to say he will be "schooled" is just as bad

 

Those fights were years ago Pac is not that fighter anymore alot better alot faster. It's like saying Wlad loses to Chambers because of the Purrity fight. It has been a long time and alot of improvment since. I mean I'm not even a huge Pac fan I'm rooting for Floyd. But I mean this proves nothing these videos. And for one Floyd is not a body puncher.

 

Floyd is actually a boxer puncher. Manny style is a little harder to describe.

I have to say that as Pac fan I don't like his comments. Its the 21st century. Just because a fighter is obviously gay doesn’t mean he cant be a role model to kids. Its not like Floyd's homosexuality will infect them. Its pure paranoia on Pac's part.

 

Mayweather can box, slug, or swarm. He can and do which ever style secures him the win. He boxed DLH, He swarmed Judah, and he slugged with Castillo, and many others.

those are separate fights, Manny does it all in fight, every round....theres a difference

and theres difference between being made to and going in and doing it....he didn't wanna slug with Castillo, and i wouldn't exactly say he swarmed Judah either..but i see what you're saying

Not sure if people here are just immature, dumb or intentionally stupid to try to **** others off (if that's not redundant with immaturity).

What's obvious here:
- Manny is making a statement that does two things: i) plays well politically; apparently, it's a second job to him so he's doing it; ii) sets up how he's going to handle the promotion of the fight - he's not going to talk alot. Is that hard to understand?
- saying this a cakewalk for either guy is nonsense. Manny will have a damn tough time tracking Floyd down and cornering him and Manny as a fast, powerful southpaw will present serious problems for Floyd.

I like Manny better, like him as a person and how he's conducted his career but edge has to go to Floyd. If Floyd wants to, he can run like hell the whole fight and still have a good chance at winning. And that's what I expect. I doubt Floyd schools him because Floyd won't want to take the necessary risk to do so. Manny could catch him or the judges could heavily penalize Floyd for "being negative", but these are lesser probabilites.

Prediction: Floyd in a close decision and he takes alot of flack for "ruining" the fight.
