Not for money reasons, but because Pacquaio wanted out of the ring and a hostile Thailand.

It would make him degree of sense considering nearly 100% of his matches up to that point where in his homeland of the Phillipines, and Thailand is the home of Singsurat.

Any thoughts? Pacquaio did look as if he wasn't trying at all that night, and he seemed to quit after a decent bodyshot very similar to Hoya's fight against Hopkin's.

I also thought it was a dive when I first saw it, but a body shot did land, and of course, sometimes even the most innocuous shots can be damaging, ala Hops on DLH.

I think your trying to find excuses. He caught him with a very good shot that hurt him. As Wealthy Elite said though it did look a bit low.

He didn't react like it was low.

Hard to tell from the angle it was shown from.

You guys are confused, the OP is talking about the Singsurat fight not the Torrecampo (controversial low blow).

    Exactly.

The Torrecampo fight was NOT a low blow however, it was a chin shot that ricocheted and looked low, but his reactionm simply didn't justify that it was low.

Against Singsurat he just looked like total ****, I would agree it's because he was weight-drained.

Don't know about the others but I was thinking about the Singsurat fight. If I had to guess, I'd say the others were too. I'm willing to give the Classic posters some credit that they DO know what the are talking about.

Didn't Pacquiao lose his title because he failed to make weight in this fight?
