The Problem is he is DISTORTING history.

    This content is protected

Of Course Not.. But when he started using steroids to break the HOMERUN
record.. People had a huge problem with what he was doing because he
was DISTORTING the history of the game.

Manny Pacquiao is DISTORTING THE history of boxing by doing this.
His using catchweights to break the weight division record...

    This content is protected
145 vs. Cotto for WBO 147 pound title.
    This content is protected
150 vs. Margarito for WBC 154 pound title.
2 Titles at Catchweights in 1 Year span.

Manny Pacquiao will go for his 8th titles in 7 1/2 divisions
    (vacant title at that)

, if successful he will have denied himself the glory and integrity of calling himself an 154 pound Champion Like he did calling himself an 147 lb champion.

He will Solidify his greatness with a Man who would was punish for attempting to used illegal wraps and a man who has no integrity as a man and a fighter.

And still Manny Pacquio will claimed history by winning as a coward instead of taking the risk of losing with Honor. There is no honor in cheating Risk, only shame with this victory.

Manny Pacquiao will fight with the Glory of a coward. Accepting the reward, but Declining all the RISK of being called a 154 pound Champion.. After the final bell rings, and Manny Pacquiao

is handed his 8th title, along with that title should come

. This historic acheivement of his will be a rare accomplishment, A accomplishment covered up with Shame, and Callousness disrespect for the history of boxing. This accomplish truly deserves an asterisk.

  4. This right here.

The thread starter's attitude seems more consistent with that of a low level right-wing political blogger than that of a boxing fan.

    Dismissed.

  5. Dude you are full of ****.

You are ranting on and on about this fight like Margarito is the end-all be-all of Pacquiao's boxing career. He's fought and beaten plenty of great fighters and his legacy doesn't hinge on this one fight.

This thread should be closed, deleted, and wiped from the unfortunate minds of those who've been subjected to it's erroneous contents.

Do you understand that he is changing the Record books with his last 2 catchweight fights???

He is intentionally DISTORTING history... A history of over 400 years.
People have died in the ring fighting biggger man for the chance to be called a multiple division champion.

Sugar Ray Robinson fought Men 20-30 pounds heavier than him chasing the greatness of being a multiple division champion...

Name one fight Pacquiao has been outweigh by 20 pounds while he has moved up in weight chasing greatness??? All the greats gave up size advantages in order to achieve the reward of being called a champion.

But Pacquiao REFUSES to take those risk... He rather ask for catchweights rather than do what other before him have done..

HE IS A ****ING COWARD for this sole reason NOTHING ELSE.
He is DISTORTing the legacy of all the TRUE ALL TIME GREATS who did it the right way....

He is DISTORTING the sport I love. the saD part is that He is DISTORTING it with a smile

OK say after the Margarito fight he goes back and wins another 147 belt, beats Berto or something. He has then broken the record without the use of catchweights. If he does that would this issue still be a problem. Since your main problem seems to be him breaking a record, rather then tying which he's already done anyways, with the use of catchweights. If its not a problem then one simply has to wait Margarito won't be his last fight nor will it be his last title fight and its not like by him achieving it early he's stolen anything since the only other one who could beat his record would who is still active is Floyd and that would require him going up to 168 winning at both 160 and 168 to get his seventh unlike any time soon. If it would still be a problem ask yourself why? Hes not stealing records from anyone and even without these fights he would be a freaking legend anyways.

History is already been DISTORTED...it doesnt matter what he goes back and does he cant change what he has already done.

What if Barry Bonds came back and took a drug before everygame and hit 120 more HR cleanly will that change what he did to get the RECORD???

Of course not.. and it wouldnt matter because He still DISTORTED the game by looking for shotcuts instead of testing himself like all other GREAT players have done.

PACQUIAO is ****ing distorting history in a way never seen before.
Then he has the nerve to say he has nothing else to accomplish because he accomplish more than anybody.... THE NERVE to say that...

He is coward for this, and this only..

Horus you don't freaking get it he has the record. Even before the catchweights he was sharing the record. He won 6 completely legitimate titles which had him tie with ODLH. So he isn't stealing the record from anyone. Besides that he was already talked about as great even before hitting 147. His domination of MAB along with all the other things leading up to that would have probably secured him a spot in the HOF. He was already lineal champ by 19 in the flyweight division. He's held 4 lineal titles. I mean say what you will about these 2 catchweight fights fact is he has one of the best resumes of any fighter even without them. I mean name one current fight with a better resume.

let me just give you the fact on the Cotto fight.

Pac said that if there's going to be a Cotto fight, he wants it at 143. Cotto came back with "145 or no fight." Pac then agreed to Cotto's offer for the fight at 145.

    What's wrong with that?
