I see your point. My point was why is there such absence of critcism from past catchweight fights, title or non-title. Even Henry Armstrong particpated in one. Yet, this hasn't affected his standing among the ATGs.

And why the 20 pound weight advantage as measure of greatness? Is that a general rule of thumb for greatness? Joshua Clottey had at least 15 pounds on Pac. Not good enough for the 20 pound advantage minimum criteria of greatness? Clottey never lost convincingly ever before in his career and he couldn't win 1 round against Pac. Is this where the "fixed fight" excuse comes in to play?

    STFU!

You don't know anything about boxing history so STFU. Catchweights are there to make fights that are impossible to happen happen.

They are fighters and their job alone is a risk. But they are not also stupid like you. It is called risk management.

Would Pac fight Paul williams at 160 because he is a warrior?

The fact that he is fighting Margarito alone is a risk that not even Gayweather who is naturally bigger than Pac is taking.

His is intentionally distorting the history books.. and then says he accomplish more than anybody and has nothing to prove... he has the nerve to say **** like this when he has had 2 catchweight title fights in a 1 year span. FOR GAD SAKE he holds the catchweight title in the WBC diamond belt.

STOP JUSTIFYING THIS ****.. IT IS WRONG.
He is taking no risk when ask for these catchweights when he is moving up in weightclass... NONE!!!!

Not like Robinson, or any other great. we have 16 divisions in boxing we used to have 8. but yet Pacquiao thinkg we need more so he can claim history.....

It is wrong. Btw, he is claiming history with a guy who has been punish for loading his gloves...

No honor in what he is doing. NONE.

    THE GLORY OF A COWARD.

How many titles out of the 7 did Pac win from catchweight fights?

1? The Cotto one? And then defended at 147 against Clottey?

And the issue is what now he's fighting for a 154 pound title?

And you're hiding behind a fake name ona message board calling a man with over 50 fights a coward?

I guess that makes you an ignoramus.

    Grow up.

I am not claiming history and saying I have nothing else to prove...
    'after winning a catchweight fight.

When i called him a coward, i am calling him a coward in relative terms.
Meaning for what he does as his profession compared to his peers he is a coward.

Try research relative and then you will understand.

I'm glad you mention this. The great Henry Armstrong has 3 titles in 3 of the original 8 weight divisions. Manny Pacquiao has 4 titles in 4 of the original 8 weight divisions, with only 1 held at a catchweight. Yet you claim he's a coward, but cannot even name another fighter with a similar accomplishment with the exception of Armstrong, of whom Pac has aready surpassed with more titles in the original 8 weight divisions. Armstrong, among others like Whitaker, Chavez, Ray Leonard, and more have catchweight fights in their career. But you fail to call any of those boxers COWARDS for the doing the same thing Pac is doing today. BIAS MUCH?

He defended his 147 belt vs a 147 pounder at that weight, dead weight granted given Clottey's performance, but at weight none the less.

What weight is this fight sanctioned at? 154? So is Margaritto a career 154 pounder being forced to take off more weight to gain an advantage?

Relative to your point of calling a guy a coward, your argument seems related to a horses ass.
