    Pacquiao to return in May!

Moments ago Bob Arum confirmed to that places that talks about boxing that Manny Pacquiao could face Zab Judah in his next fight, which will take place in May. Arum stated that in the coming days he will be flying to the Philippines to discuss Pacquiao's immediate future face to face.

While I think Pacquiao should dispose of Zab pretty easily, it's a high-risk low-reward fight. Zab is still fighting off his name, he hasn't done anything of note in YEARS. However, if he got himself in peak shape and was really motivated, he could really trouble Pac. Bad choice.

    Zab Judah??? WTF???

    The logical opponent is Hatton.

And I'm getting sick and tired of people mentioning a possible Pac versus PBF fight. PBF retired. And if he does indeed come back and fights anyone other than Margo, Cotto, or Williams - then every negative comment about PBF ducking the best opposition is reinforced times 10.

    Zab Judah?

The logical opponent is either Hatton, or Floyd. Not Zab Judah.

I do expect Pacquiao to return again around April or May, but I don't think it'll be against Judah.. There's a lot of talk going on right now from everyone on who Pacquiao's going to fight, but Arum has already said that Hatton is #1 on the list and talks of any fight won't start until 2009..

    As a tune-up that's a logical choice.

Marquez/Diaz/DLH and Hatton right after it sounds crazy. A tune-up against Judah and a stay busy fight sounds fair and logical before another big fight.

Don't think this fight will happen. Pac vs Hatton is more likely. To much money to be made on that one for both parties.

**** Judah. What would Pac gain by beating that man? He defeated a shot, spent, leftover of PBF/cOTTO, etc. comments..Yeah, thats what he will get if he ever fights Judah.

Floyd-Pac is the fight to be made, because it will settle who the fighter of the decade is. Both have claims, a fight would settle it. :yep

How the **** does Zab Judah carry so much weight.

Forgetting the loses to Tszyu and Spink's as they were big Unification fight's and i'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt as they say the mark of a great champion is how he responds to adversity. So we move on to post Adversity and the list is as follow's:

    1. Handed a fight with PBF after losing to Baldomir
    2. Handed a fight with Cotto after losing to PBF
    3. Handed a fight with Clottey after losing to Cotto
    4. In talks with Pacman after losing to Clottey.

By my reckoning he hasn't handled adversity too well and getting yet another shot at another p4p no1 fighter stink's.

Lord, Zab doesn't deserve this fight. But it will be fun while it lasts, and don't let Zab hit Pac real flush in the first few rounds while he's still fresh with power.

This fight is, as Scar says, a tune-up. It's also to get Pac more exposure to build up another mega-fight with Hatton or PBF. Sure, the ODLH fight was big, but why not make Pac even bigger in what should be an action fight? More priming of the pump with the USA audience, and beyond.
