+1 my heart and head is telling me PAC's going to win! congrats to pac if he wins! NO excuses if hatton wins!
It's a shame there has to be a loser. Both great fighting men with courage and no little skill in abundance. Plus they're both national heroes. It'll end in tears on one side of the globe.... which one, though?!
I am extremely confident that this fight is not going to the cards. Not so much because both of these guys throw bombs but because of thier natural fighting styles or lack there of. I have almost never seen either of these guys slow the pace of a fight, or hold on when they are hurt. I don't think either of them really knows how to manage a fight in this way. If anyone does its Ricky more then Manny (Collazo 12th rd, Luzcano, and Urango) but even then it was only for a short period of time and only after he had pretty much punched himself into those ugly situations. So basically don't expect him to try to manage a fight well in advance of a stoppage, he'll slow down but only when he's already pretty ****ed. Manny on the other had has never really been in a position of just holding on and thus I'd be shocked if he can do it with the bigger more experienced grapler Hatton. So again don't expect him to regulate the pace of the fight if it starts getting diecy.
Because it was never part of the gameplan, but everybody knows Pacmans been K.O'd by body shots in the past, so this time they will go the to the body, simple as that.
OMG.......... I don't know ANYBODY who predicted a one sided massacre like that. Hindsight's a wonderful thing they say, and I'm no exception. Yes, I thought Manny would have to 'suck it up' for 5 or 6 rounds, before coming through to win clearly, either by late stoppage, or, more likely on points. But when you consider the tear-ups Ricky's had from day one, and the fact that he looked so ordinary in his Laczano fight, before handing out a pasting to light hitting Mallignagi, he was bound to go 'flat' sooner or later. Plus, one has to wonder how much fire went out of Ricky's belly, after the hunger that made him the complete fighting machine, gave way to 'Hatton the business', with his old man pulling the strings, whilst true boxing men - like Billy 'the Preacher' Graham - were ditched for big name 'yes' men like Floyd sr. I hope he decides to quit now, having only lost to boxings' elite, instead of rumbling on for another couple of years taking unnecessary punishment from second rate fighters - but, hey, there's money left in this cash cow, eh, Ray?!
So many dumb comments...:rofl:rofl:rofl funny **** right here..Pacman's going to take a beating...atsch better luck next time :good
