Damn this is a good one . . . if it pushes through. :D

But honestly I don't think so . . . GMA 7 in the Philippines showed a live interview of Pacquaio just about 5 minutes ago, today and he was mentioning JMM or Valero as his next possible opponent.

    :yep :good

Woo, I didn't know. Juan Diaz is relentless and throw in bunches but he doesn't have the power that Manny has (even if Manny's power has diminished). On top of that, Manny is much quicker and more explosive. Juan Diaz never struck me as being fast or explosive. He's got fast hands and uses them but not fast feet. I think Manny can take Juan's punch, but can Juan take Manny's?

Even as a Diaz fan, I have to say PAC.

Another website states that Nate Campbell is slated to face the Diaz vs. Diaz winner

:think a hard one but i would have to go with pac because quicker feet and better movement to get away from Diaz punches and with pac's power he could floor him.

My knowledge of the situation is that the winner of the Diaz/Diaz fight MUST fight Campbell or else the belt or belts will be stripped.

if diaz can impose his strength and cause pac to back up he'd win. if he can't and pac is able to bounce in and out pac wins

Juan's chin is granite, POPO FREITAS tested it...Juan is very fast and powerful...his punch isn't the best but he'll def ware down the Pinoy...someone slower and a different style would be better suited for Pac's 35 invasion.

Nonetheless, JMM vs PAC 2 NEEDS TO HAPPEN!!!! I'll go with JMM in this one and a barnburner while it lasts!

I'm a big fan of the Baby Bull, but my first reaction is to pick Pac.

If, big IF, Juan Diaz can maintain his workrate against an explosive puncher like Pacquiao, he has a hell of a chance. I'm not sure Pacquiao can fight backing up but that's only because I haven't seen anyone make him do so for a sustained period of time.

It's a fight I'd love to see and, as always, I commend Pac for looking for the most challenging fights available.

Where does Katsidas fit in all this??

Im sure if the Diaz's dont fight him next then the holder of the WBO belt gets stripped.

ahhh. kastidis. i think he'll be good with fighting the loser of diaz-diaz. i have maintained this stand for quite some time now. but a few people in the aussie forum said that david diaz-katsidis is what hbo wants. and i think this is also a possibility. if pac wants to move up in weight, i don't think juan diaz is the prope opponent. i think he'll beat up david diaz. if an old morales almost won against david, imagine what pac and/or katsidis would do to that man

I really feel that Katsidas had a problem with southpaws. But probably more so ones that try to counter him and are on the back foot a bit, like Amonosot.

But he looked uncomfortable against the stance.

Pacman is worth the risk, because the reward would be huge. But David Diaz may not be, I think that still would be a hard fight for Katsidas to take out.

My biggest worry about Katsidas since before the Earl fight was his lack of big fight experience and I think that materialised at some points in both the Amonsot and Earl fights. But he could get away with it against them.
Katsidas will more than likely have a fast burning career but still it would be good for him to get some more solid fights under his belt whilst all the big names in the division are still busy.
