Pacquaio vs Margarito is the fight to happen

I'm going with Margo in this one. He won't go backwards like Cotto did in November and although he's gotten better at it, Pac won't be able to stand the Tornado's pressure for 12 rounds. Pac is a much more durable fighter than I would have guessed 2 years ago, so I went with Margo by UD.


... I'm assuming it's at the normal WW limit with no special clauses regarding Margo's weight.

They want Pac beaten badly. Considering the trashing their boys gotten from Pac.

If God willing, they would even suggested Pac to fight one of the Klits.

I suggest, one these blokes from ESB to call out Pacquiao and administer a proper beating on Pac.

 

I think Margarito needs to build himself back up a little and see how he looks in hi snext couple of fights before he gets a fight with someone like Pac.

 

Pac does fight backwards. Not so much as he's mastered it but he can in short spurts.

Thing is Pac moves a lot. Not backwards but lateral movements. This is to create an angle, force the opponent to reset, turn, go to the weaker side and deny the balance nescessary to generate full force when punching. So i don't understand why fighting backwards is the only move to outbox someone.

 

HUh? U agreeing Pac is protected? This is Margarito that was avoided like plague by Mayweather. I would really be amused if Pac is the one to take him and not you-know-who.

I recall that Roach once said half-jokingly that he would rather Manny face Klitschko before letting him fight Margarito but had no problem with Pac facing Cotto though.

Obviously that was before Margo lost to Mosley but it shows you that Roach knows that Margarito's style could be trouble for an offensive minded fighter like Pacquiao.

Margarito catches people in exchanges and likes to fight on the inside imposing his strength over opponents. Mosley neutralized him by getting off first then falling in and wrestling him to the ropes to disrupt his rhythm.

Manny vs. Margo will be a gunfight because neither likes to run and love to mix it up once hit. If Margarito still has it then it could be a great all action fight for the masses.

 

margo is drained at 147. that will be the excuse if he loses.
