first off im a pacquaio fan.....like many boxing fans for the last year or so i have been completey bored to death on the excuses why this fight has not been made. at first when pacquaio ws knocking out cotto and hatton i believe that mayweather wanted no part of pacquaio and used the drug testing as an excuse along with his long vacation. i also found it funny that mayweather is now calling pacquaio out now after pacman has had 2 lackluster perfomances.....leonard waiting for hagler to slip enough comes to mind mayweather himself i believe is starting to slip as his punch accuracy wasnt as good as it should have been vs ortiz AND the fact that mayweather was easier to hit and pushed back to the ropes more than before. Both in my mind are past their best and will probably slip even more in the coming year. Right now i blame bob arum for the fight not getting made , his excuses are just as stupid as mayweathers ones 2 years ago. Both fighters are now losing respect from the fans and peers as they cant stand the bull.**** any longer. Both fighters legacys also are taking a huge hit by not fighting each other , i really cant think of another big fight thats taken this long to make. Fight this year or do us a favor and never make the fight OR.... one or infact both of you retire as i can see both fighters and fans claiming if they lost that they were at thier best 2-3 years ago and it would have been different.
from day one ive been convined this fight will never happen, i still feel the exact same way now. and now all this **** about having to build a new stadium, why was there no mention of this before. then what arum said about not knowing who to contact on mayweathers side, to negotiate the fight, that is just unbelievable. how long has he been a top promoter? 40 years, 50 years? he's worked with so many top fighters, put together countless big fights, and now he does'nt know who to contact to put the biggest fight of all together. find out bob, phone up and enquire. it could be worth your while.

Well said, this is boxing problem. When Pac beat Cotto, and Floyd beat Marquez...next step early 2010 for this fight. 2 years later? Pac lost a step. Floyd the biggest talent of his era and the biggest cherry picker.
I'm honestly past the point of caring with it now. To say it is already a missed opportunity, even if it happens in the future, is an understatement.
