Thurman is washed up, 4 years ago... yeah that'd be an amazing win, but Thurman has gone through injury hell and in the fight before Pacman he struggled badly with Josesito Lopez
He'll get stopped. He really should just retire as champ. Nothing to prove, he's just going to get hurt. Thin line between bravery and stupidity.
Hindsight is 20/20. Struggled with Lopez? Let me guess, didn't watch the full fight? Thurman was a great win and was ot washed up and the fight itself showed it. Pac was simply too great for him. And some of those PEDS might've helped too (because c'mon, we can all agree Pac was on something in that fight)
I can respect that, I guess there are just people who rate that "0" higher than legacy defining wins and titles like in the case of Pac. At any rate, they should be trailing each other no higher than 5 places apart in anyone's list anyway.
PAC saw something and feels confident of a win. I saw him being asked about the Spence / Garcia fight and about Errol and he had that little grin on.
You don't become the GOAT by beating two opponents that both do not have a single notable win on their CV. If Pac beats one of Crawford or Spence you could make a realistic case for him being a top 10 ATG, if he beats both then he's a lock for the top 10 but GOAT ?? Not for me.
Tells me he thinks Spence is easier than Crawford with more alphabet soup titles being icing on the cake. Pac will be, what, 44 when this gets made? Spence UD.
Would be more worried about Pac fighting Crawford than Spence but, after seeing both of their last fights, I think Pac has an honest chance to dethrone them both. Crawford seemed like he was struggling when he was on the back foot and Spence seems too slow with some of this attacks.
The thing is, I see Crawford with a bigger chance of a big, flashy KO over Pac, but at the same time I think Pac has more of a chance of beating Crawford than Spence.
