Garcia went Kevin Johnson mode. Hard to KO anybody who activates that mode. Pacquiao doesn't know how to Kevin Johnson.
I can't think of a fight that I would look forward to more, other than Fury vs AJ. Even the GGG vs Canelo trilogy fight may take a back seat to this one if it happens.
Pac can figure out how to deal with Spence's best weapon: his jab. Both are southpaws, as well. I don't see Manny getting "battered" because I don't see Spence having the power to do so, and Spence is my home boy. UD Spence in a fantastic fight.
By all means ha e bit of tow and fro between the fan boys of FMJ and Pac but at least acknowledge the 0 included Pac himself. Got all the love in the world for Manny. Exciting big nuts etc but do give Floyd a bit of credit. Ok he’s boring, a tactician and a technician but give his some credit. People still seem upset be didn’t dumbly for himself stand and trade like a Rocky fight
Plus don’t forget Floyd schooled Cannelo. Oh we was too green snd he took advantage I hear. Maybe but it was even close
A mistake on his part imo. He should put everything in to making the McGregor fight at best, Mikey, or Loma. If its not one of those three he should just have a farewell performance in the Philippines and retire. Spence gonna beat him up.
He should really fight Mikey and/or Loma and then ride off into the sunset, but it's hard not to get excited when you have a legendary warrior spirit like that around that wants to try the seemingly impossible one more time. "Spence and Bud don't want to fight each other? Ok, I'll take on any one of those two mother****ers, or both." How can you not love brass balls like that?
Pacquiao is old school, but I can't help but think with Spence and Crawford, he's biting off way more than he can chew with his natural aging and diminished physical gifts/stamina. It reminds me a lot of Hopkins wanting to unify against Kovaelv, but being completely physically overmatched when the fight actually happened. His success will be dependent on favorable style matchups against the sub-elite, at least until he turns up a complete shell of what he once was, which probably will happen sooner rather than later. It'll be an ugly end for Pacquiao.
