this is one of the reasons i love manny, hes made of the really good stuff. having said that, i think spence breaks him down and retires him in the late rds. pac does not have what it takes anymore to get to a guy with spences legs, he will tire himself out trying and be a sitting duck late. i would rather see him against mikey, which would be much more competitive and exciting, and wouldnt diminish him while telling them exactly what level they are currently at. if he can get by mikey, then he can probably beat crawford, before fighting the biggest fight in boxing end of next year vs spence.
LOL. GOAT seems so easy now. Just beat some guy who beat only Porter and Garcia. Thurman is so fricking overrated. His mouth got him to where he is. Pac beating Thurman only proves this division isn't as great as fans think it is. No way should a 40 year old beat guys in their prime. The same 40 year old who people said was OLD when he lost to the even older Mayweather.
I don't get this reasoning. I think Spence will box with Manny just like he did Mikey Garcia. Spence just isn't a killer, and not the type of fighter to put a life altering beating on a very crafty ATG. I like Manny to win this one by decision in a close fight. Great fight though, and could end up being the most important boxing match of 2021 with the exception of Fury vs AJ.
My point is than Pac took the fight that gives him a better chance at winning. Not saying that he is gonna win but the odds are better. Now as for Mikey, two totally different animals. Mikey ain't no Pac by a long shot.
He didn't struggle badly. He was hurt badly once and otherwise soundly outboxed Josesito and put him down as well.
He's fit powerful fast and a good boxer. You don't know what your looking at if all you see is a slow weight bully
Pacs only hope is that Spence fights him like he fought Garcia. He won't. Spence is elite and at this point has every conceivable advantage and he's looking to make a statement not prove all he has is physicality like he was vs garcia . One of these days father time will catch up with Pac and it's up to him to see it coming. This is that time. Pacs razor thin decision against an inactive Thurman is as good as it's going to get for him. Spence will destroy him
I do agree that Pac should be pulling the plug sooner rather than later, however I think he has a few moments of greatness left in him. He has looked like he still has the athleticism to compete and win at the top of the division. Spence will want to make a statement, but I doubt he is willing to take many risks to get there. A counter left down the pipe from Manny could easily put him in a hole that he doesn't need to be in. This is pretty close to a 50/50, but I lean towards Pac getting the decision. I just can't see the scenario where Pac gets blown away. Spence will come out cautious, and will not be looking for the KO especially early.
