Their personal situations mean nothing. Fact is these fights happened and titles were on the line, Cotto got the green light to put his title on the line here too and refused to do so. The fight CAN INCLUDE the title, it's Cotto's fault for not paying the fees and ditching the belt.

Last I remember the one who called out Hopkins was DLH, not the other way around. Hagler has been calling out Leonard for a long time but in the end it was Leonard who came out of retirement and officially called him out. Cotto was the one who mentioned Pac as a possible future opponent alongside Arum, Pac's team weren't the ones running after it, Arum is the one who wants to make this fight happen.

it's no problem. imo 135 is not a strong division that time and i think casa is not far off diaz as the weakest champion at 135 that time. pac just returned the favor during the first fight when jmm escaped with his belts intact after the draw when he didn't want an immeadiate rematch.

Paper or not he was officially considered a champion, true fans know it's paper but still in record books they will count that win as a championship win if the title was on the line and paid for, simple as that.

Judah vs Mayweather was for a paper IBF belt Baldomir didn't pay for that became vacant, Mayweather won and in history books it will count as a championship title victory.

Wrong scar. Hopkins from day one has called out De la hoya. After Hopkins beat Joppy, who was the first person he mention that he wants to fight so damn bad? Hmmm De la hoya? Yes Leonard came out of retirement to fight Hagler but that wasn't until Hagler keep calling out Leonard over and over and over again. Cotto has said Pacquiao might be the possible opponent cause of Arum big mouth that started with about a dream fight of Cotto vs Pacquiao. Cotto didn't called out Pacquiao the way Hopkins and Hagler did by calling out both De la hoya and Leonard.

And yet after Mayweather beat Judah for the paper ibf title belt, did Mayweather defend it? Hell no cause even Mayweather knows it was a paper title belt. Mayweather didn't even brag about winning the ibf title belt. Mayweather wanted to win an legit title belt that Baldimor holds in which he did by beating Baldimor.

So many fans wanted Pacquiao to face a paper weak champion David Diaz instead of a Marquez rubber match? Stfu.

I know that and mentioned it to you. What I was saying is that at the end when the fights DID happen it was DLH and Leonard that made the final push for it.

Still, all of that means nothing and Cotto did show interest in fighting Pac. I remember as soon as Pac/Hatton was over Cotto commented saying he would love to fight Pac but NOTHING below 145.

Yeah I know that and still it means nothing. The history books will remember Mayweather/Judah as a championship fight, that's what I'm referring to. Opinion doesn't run this sport, if it did then Oscar would have KO'd Pac out cold.

:lol::lol: Man for real. Title belts are overrated in Roach words but winning the 7th division title mean as much ? Have it occur to Roach if title bels is ovarrated then winning title in 7th division is overrated too? Can't go both ways.

History books? Lets called it record book in which you're right. It still don't mean **** though. I bet when Judah vs Mayweather was signed, mostly everyone might forgot it was for the ibf title belt. Mayweather i bet want to forget he beat judah to win that paper title.
