I knew for a fact Marquez wouldn't win, that much I did know. And with that stunt Floyd pulled before the fight at the weigh-in it made the whole thing a joke.

and for the record I'm not buying Pac - Mosley, and don't really care for it. But there aren't many fights out there for him that are any better. Just be happy Pac is actually fighting and not taking 2 year breaks.

There are other matchups for him, that are more intriguing than this one. Although, this one could turn out to be surprisingly competitive at moments.

I remember during the HBO commentary of PAC Vs ODH that the very thought of PAC fighting Margo was unquestionable....now after smashing him up is seen as nothing? I think that was an excellent show of strength and chin from PAC tbh....margo just kept coming and coming......PAC showed Margo compassion too......more than cheater showed for Mosley.....

It's a fair article and sounds like your average criticism of Pac here on ESB.

There lies the problem. It's easy to nitpick and criticize any fighter out there. But only Pac gets this treatment along with Floyd. Why is made to seem like Pac invented catchweights? There are probably a few hundred threads regarding Pac and title fight catchweights yet when Paul Williams demanded 157 against Sergio Martinez, there were maybe 2 threads about it. Double standard? Sugar Ray Leonard won 2 weight division belts from 1 catchweight fight. Yet nobody questions his placement in the Top 10 ATGs.

Cotto fought at 145, one pound under what he weighed in against Clottey just a few months back. Cotto even said he felt great at that weight and looked in better shape than he did against Margarito.

Steroids? Because of his ascent up the weight classes? Henry Armstrong held 3 of the original weight classes titles simultaneously and fought opposition giving up 25+ pounds in weight.

In fact, is there any boxer in history to ever been questioned more than Manny Pacquiao?

Still overrated and a lot of his wins are not near as good as they look on paper.

As for his Mexicutioner, bull**** tag as he lost twice to Marquez. :hi:

I love how people in these articles only look at one particular facet that they have chosen about a fight and spin it to their advantage to make an argument. Pac has only used the catchweights just to make sure he could compete at those new weight classes because he is the smaller guy. They didn't know if he could take a flush punch from a welterweight or a junior middleweight, it turns out that he can so I doub't he will take any more catchweights unless its fighting someone at middleweight.

Catchweights in my opinion are a good thing because why weight drain one fighter even more coming down a weight class or bloat another fighter coming up in weight when you can settle on a more reasonable even weight class
