    Damn!!!!!

Gbp must be scrambling right now!! Not only will they have to find someone to interest fans on a fight against Floyd, they'll have to stack the **** out of their undercard. Floyd vs magic hatton ain't cutting it.

What about a three way Floyd vs. Hatton vs. Malignaggay. Just because they're all gay doesn't mean it wouldn't be a good fight.

So Margarito's ban is only in California? Or, should I say, was? It has been a year...

I remember there was talk of him seeking a date in Mexico, for some reason that led me to assume that all other U.S. commissions were going to follow suit in refusing to permit him to lace up in solidarity with CA despite not having an official ban in place.

Arum and his dick suckery and connections could of made it happen. **** him and **** the "cheater" fight card. Top Rank the home of boxing cheats that fans still love.

Tony will pull Latinos in at Cowboys Stadium, no doubt about it. If they really amp up the card, they could do a monster gate as the stadium can hold up to 110,000 or so.

Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys and Cowboys Stadium, BADLY wants a "signature" event like a mega-fight at the new arena. He would have preferred Pac-Mayweather, but he'll take a Pacquiao bout stacked with a Latino-friendly undercard. Jones doesn't care who fights as long as it's meaningful and he draws a big crowd.

Bob Arum and others from Top Rank's management are going to be guests of Jones' at today's NFL playoff game between the Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles at Cowboys Stadium. The schmoozing and deal-making is in full effect.

It's funny, if the point here is to have the winner of Pacquiao-Clottey take on Margarito assuming he beats his tune-up...I see polar opposite results depending on who wins.

Clottey schools Tony in a rematch; but Tony knocks Pacquiao out with ease.

Ban seems for all of USA, or would be assumed to be enforced as such even if that hasn't been explicitly stated. You're right about the seeking a fight in Mexico thing, that was brought up.

I think the article says that it's been a year and Margarito can apply for a license again. No certainty he will get it, but with an event of this magnitude, my guess is he will, even if some, er, "persuasions" have to be made.

That is usually how it's done, but I could just see this as: 1) Margo rehabilitation in front of a large audience and, 2) Arum and Jones wanting to fill the stadium and knowing Margo can help do that.

I think the driving factor here is that Margo is a Mexican fighter who fights in wars. And this would be his "comeback" fight, so you have that angle. Gotta fill up those seats in Texas.

This would be one of Arum's smarter moves if it does come to fruition. Margarito on the under works not only for the obvious intrigue that his presence would bring to the overall card but it also possibly positions a future fight between Pac-Margarito down the line; particularly if the Pac-PBF negotiation continues to stall later down the road.
