Maybe in knocking him out I'd agree...but I'd say they're on the same playing field in terms of actually winning the fight.

Clottey will sit on the ropes, absorb the shots with his gloves, shake his head and then do nothing in return on his way to a wide decision loss where he'll cry robbery and boxing politics. Margarito will eat punches with his face, throw some ridiculous bombs and get massacred in an entertaining fight.

Arum gave Cotto up to Pac as a way of saying "buh bye". Your parting gift is another loss on your record. You have no earning power left....

Marg would not beat Pac. He's a punching bag. He doesn't hit that hard and he beat Cotto cause Cotto gassed. Pac is much faster and can fight the same way for 12 rounds and won't tire.

He stands a better chance than Clottey.

Good. I ****ing love Margarito and can't wait to see the guy fight again. Bored of hearing about the plaster ****, he's a very entertaining fighter to watch anyway, what do I care to what amount he wants to damage his opponent, I'm watching the sport to see two people knock the **** out of eachother.

Its a great opportunity, and Margarito doesn't deserve it. If he is lucky enough to unjustly get the chance to fight on the card, I hope whoever he gets knocks his ugly face back out thru his gaping *******.

But does he have him lose or build the hate. Just like in 'pro' wrestling?

I disagree I think Cotto could stay easily get back in the game with a win and a fight against a marquee name(if fair, fair being the key term) .

Cotto was making noise about leaving Top Rank over the Margarito stuff. So, Arum gives him a big fight to keep him happy or use him up. Turns out it used him up. Now if he leaves Top Rank as threatened.....?????

Don't forget Chavez Jr. taking illegal diuretics in his last fight

Maybe they will match Margarito against Baldomir at 154. We know Quintana has been calling Margo out recently as well.

Moreover, if they could get Edwin Valero on the card against DeMarco instead of Feb. that would really make a nice card.
