And what you will see is probably the same thing with Mayweather. Manny getting 3-5 rounds, Mayweather cleaning up the rest...

Not sure that Manny hits as hard, but he hits a lot more. He won't go passive like Shane did, no matter how good Floyd's defense and countering are. Still can't believe Shane couldn't go a hard 12, or even a hard 6.

On the flipside, Manny hasn't fought a right hand dominant fighter in ages, nor has he fought one with anywhere near his speed since his days at 130. Floyd has fought two welterweights with fast hands in Judah and Mosley. One was even a southpaw.

When was the last time Manny fought a guy who was anything whatsoever like Mayweather in terms of physical attributes or style?

Both guys will be in largely uncharted territory in this fight, which is one reason why I pick Floyd to win. I think he's the smarter, more adaptable fighter, and when you face opposition who shows you things you haven't seen before boxing IQ quickly becomes the most important trait.

Yes, especially when the fighter is as fast as Mayweather, Manny will be very hittable with them in my opinion.

Actually no it doesn't. He'd get crossed the **** up if he tried to lead with his right like that. Mayweather is a lot smarter of a boxer than that...

Agreedo. The boxing IQ is a definite plus on mayweather's side.

Mayweather has longer reach, better timing, better reactions, better reflexes, moar accuracy, and he gets his first shot off faster.:huh

He's also been playing counter-puncher for much longer than emmanuel has.

Pacquiao will get schooled by Floyd, I just hope the bookies see this as a competive fight and offer good odds on Floyd so i can place £10 grand on him atleast, I know he will beat Pacquiao easy, Pacquiao needs a fighter that comes to him like Cotto and Hatton and exchange with him, thats where he shines, but against Floyd hell no, I could see Floyd possibly even stopping Pacquiao in the later rounds from sheer accuracy with his punches.

So you guys are saying that Mayweather can fire double straight rights off his back hand out of his typical stance faster than Pac can jab him with his right out in front?

maybe with someone like mosley that's possible but Pac has top tier handspeed(maybe not as fast as floyd with single shots, but he's faster in combos), that's just not going to happen.

Floyd's right hand > Pac's left and and his jab.

Convincing argument. Well unless floyd learns how to go super saiyan, i'm going to stick with the non-******ed analysis: That throwing a right straight as a lead punch against any southpaw is stupid.

Do you realize your statement goes against well known boxing axioms?

Emmanuel did it all the time with Cotto. Are implying anything a southpaw does to an orthy the orthy can't do back? That's ****ing ******ed.

Mayweather threw some lead rights against Judah.
