He's a slightly different fighter now, more cautious, more cerebral. Does that make him better? Depends who he's fighting I suppose. I don't think it helps him against Mayweather tbh, he needs to be his old kamikaze self to have a good shot because if he tries outboxing Mayweather there's only going to be one winner.

I think Pac is now a more well-rounded, intelligent, varied and considered boxer . It has probably allowed him to extend his career and remain dangerous to most opponents when the physical gifts have diminished. Unfortunately Mayweather is not "most opponents", trying to outbox him would be like entering an ass-kicking contest with a porcupine. I have a feeling the more reckless, relentless Pac of old would have had the best chance.

I think he's better, believe it or not. I laugh at those that think he has declined.

first things first, the loss to Bradley was a robbery. Secondly, Pacquiao was looking very good in that 4th JMM fight; in fact, he was so confident that he made a mistake and paid for it. IMO, Pac showed no signs of decline in these two losses.

He then bounced back and absolutely embarrassed Rios. Of course, Floyd fans will claim Rios was a punching bag but i bet he and Maidana would be a bloody war. Pac then beat Bradley soundly and Bradley is a top P4P fighter. Even JMM said that was the best pac he had seen. Pac then dominated algieri, who ran like a girl for 12 rounds.

After that KO, Pac has been fighting smarter, which is what i think he lacked sometimes. Pacquiao's talent and skills are so ridiculous that he got away by fighting recklessly and without using his head that much. He was so fast, could throw so many different punches, possessed incredible footwork and speed that he just didn't need to think that hard to win. JMM, on the other hand, had to think hard cause outsmarting Pac was his only chance to win. That's what happened in 4th fight, he outsmarted a superior fighter who got reckless.

Now Pac is using his head, which combined with his out of this world raw psychical skills makes him nearly unbeatable. Floyd will have to come up with something special.

Im sure those 32 votes came from Floyd fans.

But no , pac has matured and gotten more intelligent about how he goes about things but he's also had to compensate for his age. The KO punch played with his psyche a little bit too, it's inevitable -- but he's made the right adjustments and come back well from it. This doesn't make him a better fighter though - anybody would take the less cautious, explosive, faster, buzzsaw that was the old Pacquiao vs. the current Pacquiao.

Well the trolling did not take long to happen with you did it..
JMM a blown up feather weight LMAO. If that is what you think JMM is then that is what Pac is you dumb mutha.
Then you have your quote about Bradley being a career LWW lmao he fought at 152 on several occasions in his amateur career but mainly 147.
You say he was walking through WW's, let me tell you styles make fights thats why Cotto, Margo and Hatton ( who always has had weight issues ) got beat the way they did.
Don't blame Pac for ODLH idiocy
And Pac definately never walked through Clottey, Clottey just never came out of his shell because of the number of punches thrown by Pac. And for your sake lets hope Fraud does not do the same becasue Pac will take those rounds off Fraud and beat him clearly

No has hasn't improved as a fighter since the KO6, what he has done is take more calculated risk and it seems he's boxing a little more. I actually think his slight change in style occurred during the first Bradley fight, I also think the Bradley haymaker that he got caught with in the 4th round of the 2nd fight may have had just as much of an impact as the Marquez KO, in terms of Pacquaio being a little more calculating and more of a boxer.

Marquez IS a blown up featherweight. So what if Pac is? That's his problem dude. Geez. Bradley's PRO career has been mostly at LWW. Duh? Yes...Pac walked through them ALL...Clottey too (who complained of having the sh!ts the whole fight). BANG! BANG! BANG!

For my sake? HA! I have no stake in who wins or loses. But, I expect the best fighter to win. Don't get your hopes up...it won't be Emmanuel dude.

Sure dude. I just proved all your points wrong, which was really no big deal, and quite elementary. It's OK, these wounds to your pride will eventually heal.

I find it funny...you guys think Floyd is a boxing GOD! He is good at what he does, BUT look at the fighters he has faced the past 10 years! That's all I'm saying...Manny has faced EVERY style the past 10 years! Floyd has faced fighters, that makes him look good flat footed sluggers!
