He did not. He stopped short of killing/maiming him.

By "let him off easy" you mean why did he crack his orbital bone & leave him unable to fight for how long now?

To the OP, makes sense. I've felt like Pac has been pretty bored since the Cotto fight. Aside from fighting Mayweather, he really has nothing left to prove.

At least you know he will have that killer instinct in a Mayweather bout. Mayweather is anything except nice before the fight. And if Floyd wanted a mental advantage, this is an easy one but one he can't do because he already made himself the badguy and can't reverse what he's already said about Pac.

So Pacquiao did have "killer instinct" and "bloodlust" when he fought Margarito? In which case he's lying.

So assuming you mean that Pacquiao's lying, youre saying he was willing to give Margarito a beating to the edge of brain damage/ paralysis/ coma/ death etc But not to the point of a KO. This ring-strategy may or may not have been due to Pacquiao's "killer instinct" and "bloodlust" in the fight.

Didn't Margarito mock his trainer and talk **** to Pacquiao? How come he couldn't summon the killer instinct for that fight?

Why would a controversial potential steroid cheat get angry at a cheat?

    Floyd's already in emmanuel's head.

    1) He doesn't know how to cut off a boxing ring
    2) His left calf was injured
    3) He probably half AZZed his training in camp

I thought so too. He messed Margarito's eye up so bad. He seemed to feel sorry for him around the 10th round though, and let off the gas somewhat. From the 10th on Pac carried Margarito, and let him finish. Before that I thought he punished him pretty hardcore. Mosley, a big of puncher as he is, and even with finishing Margarito, didn't beat up Marg like that.
Mosley clinched, hit him in the body, moved around. Pac just straight up stood his ground, and if Margarito came near him he'd blast him 5 times. I never recall anybody backing down Margarito for an entire fight like that.
